There are many resorts in Mabini but unfortunately many have very steep stairs to deal with. Some have their restaurants or the pool located in an inconvenient location where we have hard time to walk up and down for the food. This small resort is perfectly designed in a way that we only need to walk few steps one time for check in/out. Beautiful pool, garden with sea view, very full breakfast. Food are tasty. Our children like it. All the quiet comfort for a good stay in Anilao!

Hotel breakfast, there are eggs, milk, oatmeal or something. Overall is OK. Can accommodate an extra bed. The hotel is covered by the sea. There is no beach at the hotel. But the hotel has a great private beach. The location of the hotel is very remote and has a mysterious feeling. The parking lot has a little bit of location from the hotel

Super beautiful hotel, the hotel is built near the sea, you can go snorkeling or play rubber boats directly without leaving the hotel. The water is crystal clear and there are a lot of corals around. The hotel’s meals are great value for money, each dish in the hotel has its own creativity, and none of the dishes we ordered were overturned (I am very picky about food)

We so loved the place! Canton woods is one vacation hub i will not get tired of spending our family’s vacation because our stay, our time and money is all worth it! The food in their buffet is very delicious, their play areas and amenities are well loves by my kids!

It was a great stay! Friendly staff. Food is great especially the rice bowls! However, some of their food specifically the mushroom and chicken pasta is a bit pricey for its serving. Marami na ako natry na pasta pero ang onti and di masyadong malasa but our overall stay was good. Nagenjoy ako kasi pumunta lang kami Batangas para sa Lomi. Haha!!

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there

A wonderful place to stop. We had a cozy, spacious bungalow with a small terrace. The only thing missing was a refrigerator, but this did not affect the overall impression. We arrived around 2 am, they waited for us and checked us in, despite the fact that check-in was until 10:30 pm. Well-groomed territory, stunning garden of plants. The hotel has a spa and good massage. Convenient location - a little away from the bustle, has its own beach. There are hotels nearby without a beach with a paved promenade. We took diving elsewhere, since everything was booked at the hotel. We had a room without breakfast. You can take it and pay on the spot. We had breakfast in different places, all within a 5-minute walking distance. In search of dinner, we went to several places, and in the end it turned out that this hotel had the most delicious food. My wife and I had a pleasant Valentine's Day excursion at the Coral Beach Club and I will say a bit more about the resort than I usually do. Our first reaction was that there is a lot stuffed into a relatively small space—six buildings with 26 guest rooms, a dining/recreation area, a pool/jacuzzi complex, and a parking area—in 2200 square meters with a 40 meter beach front. Closer observation showed that the resort is well laid out and the plan produces a family-friendly resort with something to entertain virtually all guests. Plus, the resort does not offer day passes so the facilities are never overloaded. As we settled in, we noticed that our room and the facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Linens and towels appear fresh and new, while necessary items (water, instant coffee, soap, shampoo, toothpaste) were delivered to our room every morning. The resort fronts on a public beach which is swept twice a day. Uniformed security officers prevent loitering, while vendors promoting banana boat rides, snorkeling, and floating bamboo platform rentals are courteous and helpful. Prices seem to be set by the LGU so there isn't much point in negotiating and there is little danger of being over charged. We rented a floating bamboo platform for a day (P1500) and couldn't have been happier. When necessary, the vendor trooped to the store for us and moved our platform on request so we could see more of the coral, The dining/recreation area deserves special mention. The staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, and the menu is a delight. There are items for every taste and budget: kiddie hot dogs up to adult priced steaks (which are imported from the United States). For Valentine's dinner, my wife had a tasty rib eye steak while I enjoyed a wonderful salmon filet. Breakfasts were included with our package and my wife and I both enjoyed the Full American Breakfast. Staff members were able to add a couple extra pieces of toast and an extra cup of coffee when I asked. The facilities are smoke free, but designated smoking areas are conveniently located throughout. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return with friends and family.

Close to Sabang beach - 5 mins by bike (P25 only) or 25 mins walk. In quite hill overlooking bay - nice sea view. Very clean swimming pool. Good WiFi outside the room. Have back up generator for frequent power failure - only problem is that air con not available when generator is on. Staff is very friendly and offer good advice on tour and ferry services. Provide bike rental and tricycle at very reasonable price. Clean pool daily and when request, quick to clean up room. Cleanliness is excellent. Good selection of cable TV channels Will definitely stay with them for my next PG trip

I'm rating Cocoons a 5 out 5 firstly because of the very attentive, well-informed, and approachable employees. The Cocoon itself is relatively small, but that's the main reason why it's called a cocoon and this is a glamping concept hotel. They replenish the toiletries, coffee, water inside the room on a daily basis. They change towels upon request which is good as I'm not a fan of hanging towels outside hotel rooms. The internet is not good, we had to use our prepaid wifi during our stay. The bed, pillows, and duvet were comfortable and of good quality. It would be better if there are at least hooks for clothes inside the rooms. Floor rug should also be in the room upon check-in, we had to request it but they gave it right away. If there's a way to address the hanging of clothes and towels outside the rooms that would be good as it takes away the beauty of the cocoons. Maybe a cloth string behind cocoons, not sure if that would work. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. There are common toilets near cocoons so finding one won't be a hassle. Pools were heated and clean. Shore is also clean and definitely ”swimmable”. Breakfast at The Sands was okay, but breakfast at Captain Barbozza was amazing! Had dinner at Captain B twice and loved the food, drinks, and ambience. 10/10! Overall it was a great glamping experience.
