Hotels near Port of Batangas Drop-Off Point, Batangas

My brother recommends us to come to stay at this little beautiful resort. Large rooms and very comfortable and quite private - no rooms face each other. Beautiful garden, pool and restaurant as well as comfy furniture. My sons go for scuba diving, while I enjoy a lot of my own relaxing time on reading books and watching the small boats pass by. Food is tasty, especially the pizzas, curry chicken, Seafood platter. Our family has a great time here by choosing the right resort!

My dog and I were actually celebrating our birthday during the stay. We arrived around 8:30pm as we had some errands before going to the resort. As for the room, WOW! So happy it’s just 1st floor and has breathtaking seaview since I have senior mom with me. The location is actually a little bit far but it’s understandable since it’s a diving spot. I really love that it’s almost a secluded place. The beach is not crowded and it’s beside the 5-star resort, so called Vivere. The service is great, however, the reception is so hard to reach. Their mobile number is not working, I think? Plus the telephone in the room. ‘Cause everytime I dial, it doesn’t push through. Just a suggestion, since the front desk is not 24/7, atleast improve the communication service with the reception using other platform like social media or messaging app to address guests’ concern. Cleanliness, it’s good but I spotted some stains in the linens, particularly with the duvet cover and flat sheet. It was an old stain which I think laundry can no longer remove it. But it didn’t bother me at all, so long it’s not blood. For the amenities, highly recommended! You don’t have to look for anything else because they have it in the hotel. I just hope that the elevator soon will be available (one of the staff told us). Also, kudos to the one who assisted us when we arrived. I wasn’t able to get his name but maybe he’s from HK Dept. I appreciated how he’s happy to help us eventhough we have to go down 200+ steps and go up as well. I think he was also one of the staffs who carried our things when we checked-out. :) For the resto, food was awesome and the staffs are easy to approach :) Overall, I will recommend it and surely will comeback, not just for leisure but for diving (as I’m planning to push Scuba soon). Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue. I've been coming to Sabang for 15 years. I've stayed at this place more than 5 times during various visits, its now my most favorite place to stay in Sabang and White beach. things have changed since the pandemic, access and travel time, but well worth the effort. once you arrive, I don't even have to check in, I just show up and tell them which rooms I'd prefer, and its done. the rooms are large, 11, 12 and 14, my favs. their clean, good aircon, good wifi, great bathrooms and shower, warm water, TV works, has cable, viewing deck comfortable and glass slider access. food is the best I've had on the island, Mel, the chef, is great and very accommodating, he gave me my own personal access to the early morning bar to make my own brewed coffee, that'll never happen anywhere else folks, and he's a great cook. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, they speak good English, the place stays open until the visitors are finished with their entertainment. the pool is small, yet wonderful, access within walking distance from your get off taxi, but not very wheelchair friendly, not much of the PI is unfortunately, I plan to make this my only option to stay when visiting the island. I recommend calling ahead to check availability and have a back up plan because they fill up during high season. access to the island has changed a bit. Batangas seaport is your beginning and you can only arrive in PeurtoGaler, then can only take a tricycle and/or Tuktuk to get there, takes about 35 minutes, cost about 350 pesos and is better then white beach hands down. has walking distance to bars, clubs, nightlife, yet far enough away to be silent for sleeping, many scuba shops and options, its a scuba mecca, you can YouTube many themes here and you should, I can't recommend this place enough and if your on the fence, pull the trigger, its worth it. good luck and be nice.

A wonderful place to stop. We had a cozy, spacious bungalow with a small terrace. The only thing missing was a refrigerator, but this did not affect the overall impression. We arrived around 2 am, they waited for us and checked us in, despite the fact that check-in was until 10:30 pm. Well-groomed territory, stunning garden of plants. The hotel has a spa and good massage. Convenient location - a little away from the bustle, has its own beach. There are hotels nearby without a beach with a paved promenade. We took diving elsewhere, since everything was booked at the hotel. We had a room without breakfast. You can take it and pay on the spot. We had breakfast in different places, all within a 5-minute walking distance. In search of dinner, we went to several places, and in the end it turned out that this hotel had the most delicious food. January 1st to 4th, 2024 DX Ocean View Room Good points: Good security. Even though it's called Sabang Beach, there doesn't seem to be a sandy beach. White Beach seems to be famous for its sandy beaches, and I was able to request round-trip transportation at the hotel by tricycle in about 30 minutes. The view from the hotel is amazing. You can also eat on the large shared balcony in front of your room. There was no one to use it, so it was always a monopoly. All the staff are kind. The food was average. Cons: Many hotels are built on slopes, so you have to climb narrow stairs. About 5 minutes from the street below. It takes about 2 hours from Manila to Batangas by car or bus. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours by ferry or high-speed boat from Batangas Port to Puerto Galera. It takes about 20 minutes by tricycle from the port of Puerto Galera to the hotel. There is a lot of waiting time for buses, ferries, etc., which is good for people who want to experience the feeling of traveling, but it takes time.

This is a great boutique hotel with spacious villas suitable for our family. The pool is great, happy hour is a blast 4-6pm daily and rooms are comfortable. The ate at their restaurant every night and food was good. During the day we took the boat which cost approx 3k for 4 hours and did island hopping. The stairs in the resort to your room is a challenge so if you have limited mobility then avoid but we had no issue with it.

Lovely to return to one of my favourite hotels in the Philippines.I love the location of Blue Crystal; away from all the hustle and bustle of Sabang and Puerto Galera. The friendly, helpful staff are still working at the resort and worked hard to make my stay a very pleasant one. I look forward to returning again in the not too distant future.

Our fave place that is “home away from home”. There staff are sooooo nice, very accommodating, polite, helpful and always smiling. I really love their customer service from their resort to The Sands restaurant. We’ll def go back here!

We as permanent senior citizens from Sta.Rosa ,Laguna come to Matabunkay for almost 30 Years . Well this was the last time in Coral Beach! First: the bill of drinks doublet miraculously .My intervention and complain was noticed , We received a new one without the included refund. They thought they can keep the money, because I overtip mostly with 10% .And also no sorry for error! I claimed for refund and asked for at least an apology. Well this happened later numerous times from other employees! Bye the way we expats are often taken as walking ATM machines here . This about the so calld Filipino hospitality. 2. About 11pm I woke up from loud voices with laughing etc. out from the pool. I told them to shut up because I want to sleep .The probably Chinese guy with bacla friends aprouched me agressivly with intention to beat me up. I'm76 year old , with cancer and quite week. I gave up.....and went back to our room .They continued to swim until about 1am! 3.Barely sleeping we left the resort without breakfast around 6'30 Still confused and angry we forgot Phone fast charger and 3m extension Cable. But do you think we got noticed from the staff there ? They have our calling Nr and address.No ! Find out now if you want to go there ! I don't recommend it anymore . My previous reviews always are 5 Star. Now they get 3 !
