Descrivere a parole la mia vacanza al Sandies Bathala sarebbe riduttivo.....un posto incantevole ,dove natura, relax e mare la fanno da padrone....un villaggio meraviglioso su un'isola dove per fare il giro impieghi 8 minuti per un totale di 670 metri....ma uno spettacolo indescrivibile proprio il tipico villaggio Maldiviano che cercavo!! La barriera è tutto intorno all'isola e la si raggiunge dalla spiaggia o dai pontili ed è meravigliosa,ogni giorno mante,razze,squali,aquile di mare,coralli e infinità di pesci ti fanno compagnia. Tutto lo staff e ripeto tutto è speciale!!!! Dai giardinieri ai baristi, dai cuochi ai ragazzi delle pulizie,dall'animazione ai camerieri.....tutti!!!! In particolare una nota di merito al nostro cameriere Ibrahim Rasheed sempre gentilissimo e con il sorriso che difficilmente dimenticherò, alla biologa Nicole con la risposta sempre pronta alle nostre curiosità, a Gabriele paziente,gentile e preparato, al mitico Lahpo ragazzo dello snorkeling che con il suo inglese non capivo nulla ma di una simpatia e bravura tipica dei Maldiviani, al direttore del villaggio sempre presente e gentile, allo chef e tutto il suo staff bravissimi e sempre pronti a soddisfare le mie esigenze e curiosità. Era un sogno nel cassetto che si è realizzato.....le mitiche Maldive. Un piccolo atollo dove c'è tutto quello che occorre per questo tipo di vacanza. Il personale molto professionale e soprattutto gentile e educato. Un buffet sempre ben fornito con cibi di varie culture del mondo. Animazione presente ma mai invadente. Our holiday to Sandies Bathala has been really enjoyable.The snorkelling round the house reef was superb and the reason we come to the islands.We loved our all white beach villa which was well maintained with plenty of room and storage space.All meals were enjoyed from a large choice of buffet options provided by smiling chefs and helpful waiters.The island is well managed by very pleasant and approachable staff who almost all spoke English even though most visitors were Italian.Aqua zumba and Aqua gym in the lovely pool was good fun for 30 mins most days and varied evening entertainment if you wanted it.After visiting over 20 islands Bathala is now a firm favourite for us.It was nice to meet Ginger the cat ,a sedate 14 year old and a beautiful small parrot.The fruit bats were plentiful in the tall palm trees and colourful lizards were around also.We travelled by TMA seaplane from the new air conditioned terminal for the 15 minute flight rather than the 1 hr 20 min speedboat ride. Brilliant !! What's not to like !

Our stay at the Hotel Bathala Resort Maldives was an unforgettable experience. First and foremost, the food was amazing. There was a wide variety of dishes every day, and we enjoyed special dinners featuring Maldivian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisines. The fresh pasta options, such as tagliatelle, gnocchi, and tortellini, were delightful, served with delicious sauces. The water sports center was staffed by knowledgeable biologists who made our excursions at 11 am and 4 pm both educational and fascinating. These trips were free and offered detailed explanations about the diverse marine life. A big thank you to Nicole, Gabriele, Alice, Sofia, and Lapo for making these experiences so memorable. We stayed in a beach villa, which I believe is the best option at the resort. It allowed us to enjoy the beach and nature while offering plenty of privacy. The room itself was minimalistic yet comfortable, with a stunning outdoor Maldivian bathroom. However, the cleaning service could be improved. Despite being done twice a day, the same broom was used for both the porch and the interior, leaving the floor sandy. The animation team was fantastic. Francorosso’s team was excellent, providing entertainment that was engaging yet unobtrusive. Special thanks to Valeria and Johara for their wonderful work. Francorosso also has on-site assistance, and Alessia was super helpful whenever needed. Overall, our experience at Hotel Bathala Resort Maldives was wonderful, with great food, activities, and accommodation. A few minor improvements could make it even better.

Ottima accoglienza, cibo ottimo e camera sempre ordinata, buona animazione, barriera corallina accessibile comodamente dal pontile del resort con avvistamento di mante, squali e tartaruga, sicuramente da consigliare ad amici e parenti per un soggiorno indimenticabile.

Resort tranquillo e molto pulito. Staff super efficiente e disponibile. Isola top per snorkeling, pesci , tartarughe,mantenere e squali a portata di maschera.Cibo abbondante, vario e molto buono e, anche lì, staff disponibile e gentilissimo.
