Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel übernachtet und würden das nicht wiederholen. Das lag nicht an dem geräumigen Zimmer (King Studio) und den ausreichenden Parkplätzen vor der Tür. Das lag zu einem kleineren Teil an dem abgewohnten Zustand des Hotels, dem deutlich sichtbarem Schmutz im Hotelflur, der sehr lauten Klimaanlage und dem dürftigen Frühstück. Es lang hauptsächlich an der großen KAKERLAKE (mind. 3cm lang), die abends durch das Zimmer lief und die ich mit einem Pappbecher fangen konnte. Und es lag auch daran, dass die Mitarbeiterin, die dann ins Zimmer kam, den Becher zerdrückt und die Kakerlake mit lauten knacken zerquetscht hat. Neben einer laschen Entschuldigung gab es dazu dem Kommentar „Welcome to Louisiana!“. Nur weil es schon spät war, sind wir nicht in ein anderes Hotel gezogen. Eine weitere Reaktion des Hotels gab es nicht, beim Check-out wußte wohl keiner von diesem Vorfall und wir durften auch weiterhin den vollen Preis zahlen. Das war die mit Abstand schlechteste Übernachtung auf unserer Reise und keine Werbung für Hilton!

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The King room was a good size. The mattress and pillows were good. There was only one chair at the desk, no other seating space. The A/C did not work and the phone receiver was unplugged. The manager was able to fix both. The bathroom has a deep drain in the middle of the floor. This was problematic in the dark at night. The A/C is at the foot of the bed and blows directly onto the guests. Water pressure was low and it took a long time to get hot water even though we were on the first floor. The toilet paper was thin enough to read through. The business center is in a private room. The fitness center was small. The only bike is the the dreaded Peloton with the wedge seat. Because of the small room size there was not a good place to lay down rubber mats for floor work. The breakfast was well stocked and well attended. The desk clerk was friendly and professional.
