San Stephano Resort

Went there with my wife to enjoy and relax for the day when I was at the pool and saw an argument arising at first I thought it wasn't much as it was between a young teenage boy and the bartender then I proceed to see 3 men jump in the water and proceed to push the boy and his friends forcefully and physically out of the pool including the girls yes u heard me right they hit and pushed the young girls they used so much profanity and this was all managed by the security and life gaurds I will never being sending my children there and I don't trust the staff it was mostly a blur as I couldnt understand much of what was happening but they all looked very young and couldn't be older than 16? Then they proceed the push and hit the children it was a very sad thing to watch and I am extremely flabbergasted as how one could do something like this to kids I don't recommend this resort be very careful for u children.

Do not let ur kids go their by themselves I was sitting a the pool when I saw a group of men (lifeguards and workers) grab a boy who looked no older than 15 years old and proceed to hit him and the other boys and girls!!! The girls and boys were being thrown and pushed out of the pool with force they had about no mercy and the fact that they didn't even ask the kids about their side proves how much they respect us I proceeded to follow them and saw one of the workers punch one of the younger boys across his face It was an extremely scary thing to witness and I will not ever be going their again I felt so sorry for the children because there was nothing in the world they could have done to get beaten by the staff stay safe I do not recommend the resort.

It was an amazing visit at san stephano resort everything was good especially the reception desk team(bashar and rita at first),pools,hotel,parking and all the cleaning area such as playground and resto and bathrooms down. The beach only needs more cleaning and organizing but it is not bad at all we would like to add a comment that the staff are friendly a lot and the security team is the most I wish for them more progress and success I encourage all the people to visit them and spend a great moments with their families there Faithfully yours.

The resort location is good, in the heart of Batroun, everything is close by to the resort, which impressed me at first.l, but all resorts are within the same area. But dont get fooled with the great location. We had the worst vacation there! We got terrible diarrhea, right after we had eaten at the resort. I thought at first it was just us, or maybe something we had ate prior to the resort. but i was shocked when i overheard other customers also complain to each other that they also had a very bad episode of diarrhea. We definitely picked it up from the resort! Which was terrible and spoiled our holiday! Their food is considerably cheaply priced, which is good. however this comes with a price of being stale, and price of getting sick, not everything was fresh, some food items came stale, u can tell they were reheated a couple of times before they were served, their salads also weren’t the freshest (taboula) which we left out and didn’t eat coz it looked bad and we didn’t even complain, because their staff are terrible with communication and are very arrogant especially with tourists. Their breakfast is so cheap too its $10 each,set breakfast. They only served 2 croissants to a party of 6! When we asked for the other croissants they said ok and walked away very “arrogant”chatting to each other and ignored our request, after 20 mins we asked again they said that they had already finished. Eggs took a good 30 mins to bring to the table, even though there was no one at breakfast but us, (no wonder why) and it came cold and too salty, we couldnt eat them! And we didnt bother ask for new ones because they were giving us attitude. Which i dont understand !! This is a resort!! They should be welcoming atleast! To make things worse, I was confronted by a staff member (lifeguard) who insisted that I remove my t-shirt while sitting by the pool or leave the place!! This situation left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against, which i never felt before!! How can i guy come up to a lady in an arab country and say such a thing!!! I was shocked!! SEXUAL HARASSMENT ! I think its my right to make choices about what to wear and when to take off or keep on,, not the lifeguard and not the resort definitely! When we went to the front counter to complain, the staff were even worse than the lifeguard !! they seemed careless, didn’t want to listen, defended the lifeguard before even knowing what happened! And they refused to call the manager. When i threatened to write this on social media, they immediately said they will look into it, i was promised an apology which i never got . Which shows how much they are careless!! Don’t get fooled by the pictures and place like we did. Its a nice place and cheap but at the cost of ur happiness and peace of mind. Id rather pay a higher price to feel comfortable and not discriminated against ! If your a tourist and not a local they will discriminate watch out

I was so amazed by the wonderful staff and the the beautiful resort. I was skeptical on my trip to Lebanon for the overall reputation it has. Hovever my stay for 2 weeks at this resort was honestly the best choice I made. The staff was friendly, room service took a few minutes to respond. Had fresh clean towels minutes after a request. The pool are was clean, the beach was paradise. By far, the nicest place a family can go for a luxurious trip to Lebanon. San Stephano resort was the highlight of our trip. The ladies at the desk gave my daughters friendly advice on where to visit and eat and what to wear. I cannot stress enough how we were so impressed by everything. For those looking for location, this is the spot. We had coffee shops including Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks steps away from our hotel. Endless choices of restaurants and cafes. Hair salon was a 5 minute walk. At times, I felt I was at a beach town in California. I highly recommend and believe me it dissent disappoint. The lobby, the remodeled rooms, the security the restaurant the pool the beach were all wonderful. It felt extremely safe with top notch security at the entrance. A security officer at each building. That alone was tremendously appreciated. Tripoli Beirut are all 30-45 minutes away. It’s closely centered to everything.

Great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C, electricity and internet were always available with no interruption. The staff inside and out were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. The restaurant on the premises is great and should try it.

We just competed a family vacation at this property for at least the second time. We took one of the new 2br units near the pool. Let me just say WOW and thank you to the hotel management. The service was unparalleled. Super-responsive staff, excellent restaurant suitable for international travelers, prompt towel service, and friendly people. The facilities were excellent. There is also very, very good security at this hotel, which we appreciated. This hotel experience is as good or better than they offered by many of the world’s leading brands. I have traveled the world on business, and the cleanliness, service, attentiveness to detail and room facilities at this hotel are really excellent. Not to mention the Mediterranean Sea views. When you ask for your room to be cleaned, they send a crew of six people who are extremely thorough and efficient. The new pool is beautiful, huge, and so easy to access from most of the units. The rain shower in the bathrooms is phenomenal. (Maybe need to find a way to keep water from running under the shower door a little better.) I also would add that my children, who are young adults, enjoyed the fitness facilities for a modest additional charge. I have only one or two small comments for management’s consideration, and for the improvement of a place that we love. In such an outstanding property, the mattresses, which I am sure are brand new, are just okay. For a week’s stay, they are not as comfortable or supportive in my opinion as they should be, given the high standard of this hotel. Recognizing the investment in these mattresses has already been made, maybe consider giving your guests an option to add a foam topper and consider upgrading the pillows. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday. We will be back for sure. I would recommend this amazing and well managed hotel without hesitation. Please bear in mind they are not currently accepting credit cards, I believe due to the financial crisis in country, so you will need cash.

There is not one thing I can complain about. Location is great, Private beach, beautiful swimming pool. The suite was spacious, clean and up to date. Front desk was very helpful and prompt to any request. The restaurant on the premises was excellent; great Lebanese food and sea food. The resort is a walking distance from the heart of Batroun. We had excess to all kinds of restaurants, coffee places, night life, shopping. I will definitely go back.

we stayed with some friends in a suite and it was very good, the room was very good and clean. It was a good trip and good hotel. not very expensive, good location next to the beach and the central street
