Great choice if u are traveling with kids and friends. We were a group of two families and they offered us with the connected rooms. Rooms are spacious with abundant furniture and room service was quick and friendly at all times Swimming areas were well maintained and neat except you will be occasionally greeted with a bunch of bird if u are eating by the pool. Beach towel is available by the pool only and u are not allowed to take it to the room - can feel a bit of chill on the way back to the room since lobby and elevator are always cold with A/C Bring a pair of socks , long sleeves and pants if you are planning to taker ur kids to the kids club.

Hotel is great as there is a night market and a lot of food options outside hotel. Kids had alot of fun with the pool and there are beach activities available just at the pool, room was very clean.

The hotel is nice and I feel comfortable. Very kid friendly and safe for kids. Welcoming drinks are serve and the receptionists are very kind. Swimming pool got life guards which very responsible.

Super nice hotel. Everything was nice here. The staff were friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable. Nice variety of food for breakfast and beautiful view. Me and my friend enjoyed staying here and will come back soon. Overall Satisfaction. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Kids friendly hotel,nice pool with water slide and water play area.many restaurant and night market outside hotel.There are many activities like watersports,basketball,table tennis,football,adventure zone. Pool table cue not in good condition,

We stayed there for three nights with two connecting rooms with two children. The children enjoyed playing at the swimming pools for kids. However, the demarcation for the children's area to play is rather small and cramped, worse when smaller baby with parents joined in with their floats, this left the bigger children with standing and walking space.. It has two water slides at the storm area, is unexpectedly deep at the end of slides, my children play there only once, swallow some water and struggle to stay balanced and stand up. They sense the deep not worth the fun, and not going again, in fact, rarely got children playing at the water slides. We have a good view of sunset at the beach. The hotel is walking distance to nearby pasar malam in the evening, also many night activities in surrounding areas. We have the seafood dinner promotion at 1 for 1, it has good variety except no mud crab but with only the flower crabs, btw they are also of little meat. Overall, is a good 4-star hotel for families to stay..

My trip is very wonderful. My kids very very happy ! Stay here for two night,everything is good. Food, pool, staff and all the facilities very good and helpfull. Will come again 🥰

It has very nice landscape seems that it's not really at the beach but somewhere in the lush Forest the food is good to a lot of choices varieties ranging from Malay food to Western. Or I give 10 out of nine

Everythings is ok and good. This is an old hotel but suprisingly its super clean with nice pillow..i would definately come back

I have been coming to Golden Sands Resort since my primary school days where my dad took us for school holidays every other years....and i came back few times already to bring my own family to enjoy our time at the pool....the hotel is nice and they have superb and beautiful pool with trees alongside the pool and they haves 3m depth pool which i truly enjoyed it

No regrets even for my 2nd time to stay here. They never failed to make my kids and I leave with a big smile and sad that we have to leave. Will never choose other hotel if we are down to Batu Feringhi the next visit. Thank you to the check-in personnel, he gave auto upgraded since I want to show my kids view of the sea and the pool at the same time. Besides that, I’m truly honored with how accomodative and feel warmth treatment by the F&B for being so awesome, kuddos to Pn. Jalita and team for making the best food. Love all of it! Thanks for the best experience. Only one thing I was abit sad, the beach no longer a beach that my kids able to enjoy since its been ‘destroyed’ due to the man made island so called near Gurney. Hope the gov will do something about it..

Everything was nice but the location a bit far from town. Its good place to release stress. Breakfast also nice
