Tired hotel in a great location. I always prefer to be in the centre of town - and this hotel is great for walking everywhere.

This hotel was not as advertised. Upon entering our hotel room, a 1/2 eaten bagutte and baggies were on the bed. The lock did not work properly, they had to come twice to lock door and gave us new key. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the next room. Parking isn't "reserved" you have to find it which we did but about 3 blocks away.

Great hotel and room! Staff was wonderful! Even the Normandy tour meeting spot we took was literally around the corner. If we visit again we will definitely stay here!

Small well positioned hotel with average sized rooms with small bathrooms. The beds are firm but reasonably comfortable. Thin walls means you hear noises outside and around you. The streets were quiet at night. No tea or coffee making facilities and no bottled water. There is no lift but we were supplied with porterage that was arranged by our travel guide.

Hotel Churhill was our home base for 5 days spent in Normandie in March. It was perfect in every way. Every morning we awoke to the smell of bread baking ( or perhaps croissants?). We enjoyed the breakfast of espresso, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs and dried fruits and cereals every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful and there is a parking lot directly outside the hotel which is free overnight. We walked 5 minutes to the Cathedral and 20 down to the train station. Each night we strolled for 15-20 minutes around the downtown to the many restaurants. Our room and the entire hotel was, clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated - complete with compelling photos of soldiers liberating the nearby towns. We appreciated the curating and displays of various items from WWII and the books that were available to browse through. There are hairdryers and charging outlets in each room. The washrooms are modern, clean and bright. We cannot wait to return.

The property is centrally located. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable
Matthias (sp) helped us to safely leave before the storm as trains were getting cancelled. If not for him , our trip would have been badly disrupted
