Excellent hotel! Great location, very close to the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are new and spacious. The only minor downside is the lack of a bathtub. The staff are all very enthusiastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Barcelona.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. For a four-star establishment, I expected more. Some areas of the hotel seem a bit dated, giving it the impression of a package tour hotel rather than a modern city hotel. The pool area is decent, but nothing special. The artificial turf doesn't look particularly high-quality, and the pool's atmosphere didn't win me over. Guests often sit in the water with cocktails, which doesn't exactly contribute to a relaxed ambiance. The lobby and lounge also feel rather cold and uninviting. While there is a bar, it unfortunately lacks a genuine bar atmosphere or coziness. I believe there's significant room for improvement here. The room itself was tidy, but the refrigerator could be a bit larger. It would be practical if it could accommodate ice or larger drinks. On the positive side, I'd like to highlight the beds – they were really comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. One point that particularly bothered me: the hotel descriptions barely mention that it's located directly next to a highway or a highway exit. Vehicles pass practically right by the hotel. This is less noticeable on weekends, but during the week, the traffic is clearly audible. I found the traffic noise particularly disturbing when having breakfast outdoors. Ultimately, I made the best of my stay and had a pleasant time. Nevertheless, I wouldn't classify this hotel as a particularly high-quality four-star establishment, and I would likely choose a different accommodation for my next visit to Barcelona. Overall, it was a solid, but rather average experience.

The room is very clean and spacious, one of the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in. The room is great, however we had issue with the ac. It’s equipped with the controller that has AC and heater option, but the AC was not working and it kept blowing out hot air no matter how cold we set the dial. Upon checking with reception, we were told during November they switch the entire building system from ac to heater option so individual rooms have no way to override this. The room has massive windows so that has kept us cool. While we are in Nov, where weather is getting colder, the week that we were in Barcelona has great weather and temperatures still at the 15-20degrees so would have thought they would also consider the climate instead of just having a scheduled date to switch over everything to heating.. There are loads of breakfast options, but no egg station. Hot food option not the best, bacon and scrambled eggs overcooked and not really good quality on sausages. For those who enjoy cold breakfast selection like the pastries fruit and hams etc it’s much wider selection they provide here compared to other hotels.

The location was good, within walking distance of the metro, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room preparation was delayed during check-in. Other than that, I didn't experience any problems during my stay. Overall, the hotel gives the impression of a staff shortage. The staff are quite attentive and helpful, but I think they can't keep up with the number of guests.

My room was close to the lift and hallway entrance, and could hear the music from the hotel lobby, which can be quite distracting. Noise cancellation in rooms could be better as any voices and cart pushing sounds from the hallway were quite loud. Room was generally clean and tidy. Slippers had to be requested and there was no iron in the room. Breakfast buffet was great, which starts at 7am.

The service was excellent, but the sea view from the lower floor was partially obstructed. Overall, my stay at this sea-view hotel was quite good. The room was clean and comfortable, with a sea view from the window that was relaxing both morning and evening. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The location is convenient, with easy access to dining and transportation. However, some facilities are a bit dated, and the soundproofing isn't great. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for a short vacation or business trip.

I arrived at the hotel at 2 AM after confirming by phone that arriving late and finding the parking would be easy. My mother had already arrived and paid for the parking. However, the night receptionist didn’t know where the parking was and only gave me some printed papers with directions that were confusing. Because of this, I drove around Barcelona for over 30 minutes, exhausted, stressed, and even crying. I stopped at another hotel to ask for directions, but in front of me there was a vandalized car and two men yelling, which made me feel unsafe, so I left the area. Eventually, the receptionist found that the parking was on the opposite side of the road. I only slept from 3 AM to 8 AM, and when we checked out at 10 AM, I explained the situation, but the hotel offered no solution or refund for the €25 parking. Overall, the experience was very stressful, unsafe, and the service was poor.

Location is a so-so for me. Just 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro and it's a paved road all the way to the hotel which is good for travelers with luggages. Room view was nice as well. The hotel is situated near the beach which is a plus and the sorroundings were clean. The Service is perfect I could say because I made some changes with regards the check-in process and they were kind enough to reconsider my request. The hotel provided us with combs and toothbrushes and other hygiene stuffs which is convenient for those who forgot to bring theirs. Their buffet has a lot of options so you could really choose on what to eat. So far everthing went well with our stay.

The hotel service was very attentive. The sea view room had a decent view, though unfortunately, there was a building directly in front of it partially obstructing the view. I thought mineral water was provided daily during the stay, but the front desk said it was only on the first day. However, for the last two days, the cleaning staff kindly provided bottled water, which I really appreciate! ^_^ The showerhead in the bathroom seemed clogged, and the water pressure was very low, making the shower experience not particularly comfortable.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful. The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect. Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on. All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
