Great
MmarcryuThe location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel.
This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat.
We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us.
Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.
GGuest UserOur second time at The Mercure Mt St Michel.
The positive point is that it is warm!!!! lol, given the cold outside, it was wonderful to enter a warm building and a warm bedroom (some hotel bedrooms are so cold when we reach) . Service af reception was good, helpful, nothing fancy… not helping with suitcases.. but that is ok lah. If the structure of the hotel allows it, we would really recommend to have an elevator, for those of us travelling from far with huge suitcases… please think of it. Last…. The outside toilet is not cleaned often enough to my opinion… as the corridor, which was full of soil and leaves….
The bedroom was very warm, spacious, nice, except the mini winnie tiny toilet. Like…. Why building this separate toilet like that, where we can’t move?… that was weird. But all the rest was great, no stress.
Breakfast buffet was nice and the location is also very nice, very light.
GGuest UserDirty, but, on the other hand, you are completely immersed in the medieval experience) it is worth going, much more pleasant to walk in the evening when the crowds of tourists silence
(Photo View from the wall next to the hotel, not from the room)
GGuest UserThe room is viewed on the bay, quite spacious and with comfortable beds. Unique neo, between the window of the room and the bay, there is a passage on the perimeter walls. This means that during the day there is a great way to tourists, so privacy is less...
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy.
There was nothing particularly good about it, but the staff were very friendly and, best of all, it was great that the square where you can see Mont Saint-Michel is just outside the hotel.
There was also a bathtub, which, although shallow, is appreciated by Japanese people!
GGuest UserThe hotel has a very good location. It is quite an old building with a very hospitable owner. The room was tidy and clean but rather small for three people.
JjmelodiesThe original hotel is under renovation and we changed to the one nearer to the Mont Michel. Great hotel location. You neee to get a QR code from the hotel before you reach the hotel. There’s a security gantry. We don’t get the notice on change of hotel nor the QR code which is a bummer. Else it’s a beautiful stay
MMary the free spiritLove staying at La mere poulard. Love everything but the flies which I think it’s hard to get rid of due to the location. It was beautiful otherwise. Breakfast was yummy. Just go early like 8 or 9 am
And be grateful… make sure to greet the staff and say thank you. It’s the other way around in Europe just to have your manners. Learn Bonjour and merci … it will make a big difference!!!!
KKANDAI think it's a room like a Japanese business hotel, so I like it, but it was clean and I was satisfied.
The only disappointment was that the reception, breakfast restaurant and rooms were all in separate buildings and had to walk a little. And the building with the room is very hard to understand. I was explained in English but I couldn't understand. At the time of my check-in, another customer (French) was just trying to check in, and he said, `` Because we are checking in now, let's go to the room building '', so we went together Was. I was able to go to the room immediately because they were there, but if I were alone, I might not have been able to get to the room.
I had such a serious thought, but the room was beautiful and there was no problem after check-in. Except that the shower water pressure was weak.
We stayed at the island of Mont-Saint-Michel cheaply and were quite satisfied.
Finally, the location of the reception is just up the stairs in front of the famous omelet store (pictured).
And stairs (photo) to go to the room building.
The breakfast restaurant faces the street so you can see it right away.
