The inn remodeled from the old house keeps its quaint style, but it feels like crossing the road. The sanitary facilities are very clean, the location is very convenient, the front desk brother is very good

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown. American breakfast 🍳 is rich. Parking is discounted. There are many restaurants nearby, just going on the weekend, almost full. 👍 very close to the beach 🏖️

The location of the hotel is OK, next to the ferry terminal, the view outside the hotel is good, breakfast at your own expense, very general, the lobby is bar-style, drinking mainly, not suitable for parents, suitable for people who like to drink a bar, the hotel does not provide drinking water, We rushed to the nearby supermarket to buy drinking water, and deducted a deposit of 250 knives a day. It should be convenient for those who like to drink. We booked a sea view room, but it is still different from the sea view room on Ctrip. The slanting window edge, crowded in the corner of the window to see the seascape, there is no space for two people to sit, and in the Ctrip platform reservation, before leaving the store to pay a 35 knives, saying that the third-party platform did not count Hotel accommodation costs, this little ninety-nine makes people feel very bad! ! For the first time in my life, I encountered this weird situation! Friendly reminder: In fact, there are similar and more square view hotels on both sides of the hotel! After visiting a circle, I found out that I regret it!

We were disappointed in our stay. When we booked, we specifically selected ”water view” and the room was advertised as having 2 ”queen” beds. Although perhaps both were technically true, we certainly felt ripped off. The view we had was actually into the atrium where you could technically see the water through a window all the way across the atrium - a couple hundred feet away. The beds may have been bigger than full but were at least 6” less than a typical 60” wide queen. Since we paid extra for the view we didn't feel it was worth the price. The room out of that context was nice, but it had no complementary bottled water or coffee and at checkout we were told that was due to Covid somehow which made no sense to us. The walls were also pretty thin and it felt like someone was flushing the toiled right next to me while I was in bed. Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly but it was not what we expected for $700/night.

A friend and I stayed at the Newport Harbor and Marina Hotel. We choose a room overlooking the water and marina. What a beautiful view. Really helped with the Winter Blues. The location is awesome, so close to tons of shops, restaurants, and easy walking. The pool was so refreshing. Wish the restaurant and lounge was open for dinner, but hopefully that will change in the near future. All in all, would definitely go here again.

Very well located for downtown Thames Street and wharf areas. Melville House is one building of about 5 in the street that are used for guest rooms. Upon arrival we were put in a different building. There is no front desk but an Innkeeper at No. 31. Check in and check out very easy. Room well appointed.

Historic Hotel in the Center of Newport. Staff was Friendly and helpful. Rooms were Comfortable and Cozy. My only Complaint is the Hot Tub was Only That, a Hot Tub. There Were No Bubbles! The Pool was Nice regardless.
