Great hotel great location

Location was amazing, I’m super happy I had room with mountains and lake view. People working there was friendly, a bit cold in room but it’s alright. Bed and bedding was super comfortable, I slept like a baby in clouds. Amazing building. I’m in love with this place. Looks like from fairytale

This hotel has a 200 year history, and the building and interior are very traditional Swiss and beautiful. The front desk staff and the manager were very kind and tried hard for the customers. The few temporary staff members had really bad attitudes towards the customers!

It was nice that the room had a balcony and we could see the sunrise and the mountains. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, but the number of buses is reduced at night, so I recommend checking in early. The room was clean and I really liked the mountain view. If I have the chance to come to Switzerland, I would like to stay here again!

The room was a cute pension-like room, and there was a shared terrace with the neighbors. It was great to eat and drink on the terrace! The food I bought at the supermarket tasted even better♪ If it's chilly, you can wrap yourself in the blanket in the room. The location is a bit of a downside, as it can only be reached by car or bus from Interlaken, but there were other good things, such as: ⚫︎There were several sections with great views along the way ⚫︎We were given a ticket to ride the bus for free on the way back (downbound) (it was helpful because we didn't have to call Uber), so overall I was satisfied◎ (!) I couldn't exchange money for Japanese yen at the hotel! But the receptionist was kind and helpful, and I was able to learn a lot of things♪

As you can see in the first picture, no alcohol. There is no air conditioning. Originally, the cheapest room was around 16, but I got the lake view room at 19. The view was so beautiful, it was great. The room condition was good. It was clean. However, you can't drink alcohol, and if it's late, there's nothing to do around Bettenberg. If you say you like to sleep quietly, I recommend it, but no, if you want to hang out in a crowded place, go to Interlaken. Breakfast was also clean and good. I had a good rest.

Remember, if you are reported or caught, you will be fined 1,500 Swiss francs. The hotel's balcony is quite large, and the scenery outside the balcony is very beautiful. You can see the mountain peaks opposite. Compared to the hotels in Interlaken, the view is not only much wider, but the price is also cheaper. After all, the location of this mountain view hotel is It's not comparable to hotels in town. There is a very open parking platform next to the hotel where you can take pictures.

Good value for money, rich breakfast, and a buffet dinner for 35 francs in the evening. Highly recommended.

The sanitation is very good, the service is good, and the stay is quite comfortable ~ But this hotel is halfway up the mountain, and it takes more than 20 minutes to get there by bus. If you don't drive yourself, plan your time in advance. If it's too late, the bus will only run once an hour.

Breakfast is in the restaurant on the first floor, which also faces the mountain and lake view. Dinner is on the second floor, which also faces the beautiful mountain and lake view. The hotel can make simple pizza and soup, and the mushroom soup is quite good. The only drawback is that the shower room is very small. People over 1.8 meters tall should be careful. The whole room is also very mini. The bed is 0.8 meters wide, very small, and the mattress is very soft, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep.
