We made reservations almost 6 weeks in advance for our nephews Marine Bootcamp Graduation. We made them thru a Booking agency , but we called the hotel to confirm their pet policy as we have a cat, the individual we talked to confirmed they accept cats but told us there was an additional fee which we paid in advance . When we arrived on Wednesday, the 11th, the day before Family Day, they told us they don’t allow cats, even though they confirmed they did and they advertise they’re “pet friendly”, they wouldn’t let us stay there, the clerk was very rude!!! We had to go thru the booking agency to get our money back but the major issue was trying to find a place at the last minute, all the hotels were full. We ended up having to stay at a less than desirable motel. We have never been so upset, disappointed, mad, etc. This was very, very unprofessional, it put a real damper on what should have been a great week. Given the circumstances, an exception should have been made, but there was no consideration, extremely poor customer service , would never recommend this place.
