From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after amazingly. All the staff were wonderful, Jackie the manager is one of the nicest people we met when staying at a hotel , we are looking forward to staying at the hotel again , wonderful place

From the moment we arrived, we were utterly enamoured with this delightful establishment. Our accommodation was impeccably clean, with a bedding setup and overall ambiance that was simply perfect for our needs. The cosy, homely atmosphere was so inviting that we found ourselves reluctant to depart when the time came to return home. We would cherish the opportunity to visit again at the earliest convenience. This hotel has truly set a new standard of excellence that we shall fondly reminisce about for some time.

Good position for visiting Anglesey. Superb service from the staff, good check in. Excellent food. Bed really comfy. Another great Inn Collection experience.

We cannot praise the staff enough. They were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The Welsh breakfast was amazing thankyou.

Having had lunch here a few months ago we booked a short break. The Bull didn’t justify some of the recent negative reviews. Quite the contrary food was excellent and served hot. Staff were warm and friendly and happy to go the extra “mile”. The negative reviews would have put us off had we not had a previous good experience. Our room was cosy and very comfortable. The only observation would be if you have limited mobility the over bath shower poses quite a challenge (bath side is very high).

Nice room and location Average food and service. 10 family members, had to sit seperatly at breakfast although it promised the previous night.

Over the years I’ve had several long weekends here and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Sadly the little touches that made it excellent are gradually being lost. Some examples. My Townhouse room previously had a little nespresso machine and a thermos of fresh milk. Lovely. On this stay there was a kettle and little uht servings of longblife. Instant coffee sachets and no herbal tea at all. Breakfast previously included a generous buffet with a real focus on local produce. It felt special. On this stay there were kellog cereal boxes. What had been table service was replaced with self serve coffee and queue at the bar to place a cooked breakfast order. The residents lounge was a cosy room in the historic inn which was a lovely place for curling up with a drink and a book after a long walk or when - as it sometimes does in Wales- it was raining. It’s been made over into a dining area. There is no lounge now. Check in and out is now handled at the main bar: this meant waiting for too long and it felt like the hotel prioritised staff over guest convenience. All in, it’s a shame I know how good this hotel can be. It was fine on this visit but no longer special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you. Two daughters visiting from California and Brisbane, they wanted to visit Angelsy, we chose your hotel and you did not let us down !
