Villa Angelina

Avoid avoid avoid. Really crap experience. We booked an apartment they gave us a double room. The lady manager said just go you can go to another hotel. They booked another hotel for us we got there and no booking. The lady manager was so rude. No one should stay here as the service is poor. The photos look good but nothing like this. Avoid avoid avoid. The cleaner from serbia was the nicest lady there. Any british people do not go here you will be disapointed.

Please do not book this property. We booked 2 apartments and when we arrived they were not available. We were shown the tiniest room with a bed with no bedding. The bathroom was horrible. There was no lift and the pool area was not pleasant. We asked the manager to move us to the apartments we had booked and she said I had booked a small double. I showed her the paperwork from *********** and she said I was a liar. She phoned her son who also called me a liar. We were told to leave if we didn't like it. After an exchange of words she offered for us to move to a two bedroom two bathroom apartment at the hotel montenegro for 420 euro. We said OK abd left in a taxi. There of course was no reservation for us and we were stranded with no accommodation. Thankfully a wonderful man at the hotel montenegro reception found us a hotel. The final insult was villa Angelina then tried to take my money. This property should be removed from *********** etc. They are charlatans!

We did not have a great stay here. I'll start with the positives: the pool is really nice with large deck and plenty of chairs. The location is pretty good, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Negatives: 1) Communication with the staff. We were given no check in info and there is no real reception area. Once we got ahold of someone, they met us, walked us to our room and literally said bye and left. No "here's the wifi" or "any questions?" Nothing, just "bye". There was a discrepancy with our room (detail below). I messaged the owner and she wouldn't respond. So we called and she was very rude. We sent her pictures of the listing and she kept saying we need to call *******, it was their fault. After about five minutes, she told us there was nothing she could do for us and if we didn't like our room, cancel the booking and find another hotel. Hang up. She would not come to our room to discuss with us. It was unreal how disrespectful and rude she was. 2) Room discrepancy: Our room differed from the pictures and actual description. The listing said 2 queen beds. We got a bedroom with a queen bed and the second bed was a converted couch that was smaller than a full size bed. When I looked back at the listing, they had included pictures of our room, but also pictures of the 2 bedroom rooms -- with two queen beds. The pictures in the listing are incorrect and should be taken down. When you read the negative reviews, believe them!
