An amazing place in traditional Chinese garden. Located in center of Beijing and near everything ( subways, buses, tourists sites, Hutong, etc) . Room facilities are clean, modern and enjoyable. Recommend.

We loved it here! The location is really good as it's next to the Guloudajie Metro stop. Line 8 will take you to all the popular destinations in Beijing. Our room was clean, beautiful and nice and warm during our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. The court yard was also very beautiful. The only downside would be that there's no elevators up to the third floor and as far as I saw there were no accessibility stuff inside the rooms. There were also no queen bed + single bed option but our child is still small enough to fit with us on a single bed, so that was fine. Otherwise there are rooms with one king bed that can fit a family. We would 100% stay there again.

Flawless hotel, couldn't ask for more.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews. The breakfast looked very good, so I ordered breakfast. But I got an egg, a red bean paste bun, a milk and 2 boxes of pickles for 58 yuan. It was totally different from the reviews! I called to ask but they didn't tell me anything. They said it was different every day. They were shirking responsibility! Unbeatable!

This is a very unique hotel in Beijing. If you want to experience the luxury houses of Beijing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is highly recommended to stay here. The hotel was formerly the private residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, an important official in the late Qing Dynasty. After liberation, the first person to move in was Dong Biwu, the vice president of the country, who moved out after living there for a few years. Later, Kang Sheng, who was very popular, moved in, which shows the glorious history of this house. Needless to say, the environment is absolutely top-notch, not inferior to the royal gardens.

This is a garden-style hotel with a great environment! This time I booked this place for my friend. The accommodation environment is antique and I like it very much. I am very satisfied! Although the price of the restaurant dishes is relatively expensive, and there is also a service charge, it is still worth it to meet friends and have a meal in a quiet environment here!

Living in Shengyuan, I felt the style of the Republic of China period. The scenery in the garden is pleasant, the rooms are antique and very traditional.

The facilities and hygiene of this single room are quite satisfactory, and it is antique. The only shortcoming is that the smoke sensor is installed at the door of the shower room. The steam from the shower set off the alarm as soon as the door was opened. The security guard rushed to check the room. It was already 1 o'clock in the morning after confirming that it was a misunderstanding. This misunderstanding was ridiculous. It is recommended to find a feasible solution. The hotel service is quite good, especially Brother Jing Xingming, who took the initiative to guide the Didi driver to the hospital to pick up the guests and helped put the suitcases in the trunk. He was smiling and very kind.

I took my kids to Beijing and wanted to take them to experience the Siheyuan, so I booked Zhuyuan. I was very satisfied. The hotel is in the hutong, but it is very close to the main road and the subway station, so you don't have to worry about taxis not going into the hutong and taking a long way. The hotel is quaint and is within two kilometers of the Gulou Shichahai Nanluoguxiang Gongwangfu. It is very convenient to walk or ride a shared bicycle, and it is not far from the Forbidden City. I booked a deluxe king-size bed room, which is very large, with a dry and wet separation in the bathroom, and a separate shower room and bathtub. Although there is no elevator, the waiter helped to move the luggage to the room when I checked in.

The room was relatively clean but old, the hairdryer was noisy, and there was construction work behind the balcony. Although it was not noisy, it looked dirty and messy. I had to catch a train at 7:00 this morning, and I negotiated in advance last night to prepare a simple breakfast. The front desk called the kitchen and told them that it was OK. At about 22:00, I called the room and was told that it would be ready after 7:10-7:30. However, my family and I had already left at 7:00am.

The hotel has a beautiful environment and a particularly large yard with a pond and lotus flowers. The accommodation process was satisfactory, especially for Zou Hangyu and Li Jiaran, whose comprehensive and thoughtful service deserves praise.

Service…? There is no word “service” The facilities and environment are first-rate. A hotel renovated from the courtyard of a wealthy family in the late Qing Dynasty. The room is a little cramped and narrow. The simple refrigerator is useless… Big bathroom plus points! Garden plus points! Front desk service minus points! Room service minus points! Parking service is good! Luggage service is good! Restaurant service minus points! PS, The waiter did not ask any questions about the included breakfast set. A set meal (watermelon, steamed buns, siu mai, porridge, soy milk, side dishes, cakes) is far from the price of hotel breakfast. In general: Good hardware, poor software

The room is very clean. The environment is very good. Living in a century-old house is a special experience. I like it very much. My husband and several friends recommend it. I will stay here again next time I come to Beijing.
