If you're looking to experience the Hutong culture, the 'Zhen' suite, the best room at this hotel, is definitely the top choice. The main room of the Siheyuan (courtyard house) is slightly larger than the side rooms, better showcasing the hotel room's meticulous design and smooth flow. In the early morning, the sounds of birds and sunlight illuminating the eaves and open space of the courtyard create an even stronger sense of natural and harmonious Hutong atmosphere. Although, for some reason, a guest next door left their door open and loudly played San Zi Jing (Three Character Classic) for over an hour starting at 7 AM, accompanied by children's noise, and I eventually had to confront them, perhaps this can also be considered a truly authentic Siheyuan living experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Beijing Siyajasmine Oriental Courtyard! It's an authentic quadrangle courtyard with a very elegant garden environment. The rooms are new and meticulously clean, equipped with complete facilities and full smart home features. The combination of old architecture and modern decor creates a wonderful atmosphere. I must commend the service! Both the manager and the intern sister were incredibly professional and attentive. From the initial inquiry to check-in, everything went smoothly. Any requests were quickly responded to, and they were always kind and thoughtful. The entire stay was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, without a single unpleasant incident.

What a lucky find to discover such a brand-new, high-quality courtyard hotel nestled right in the prime hutongs of Beijing's Second Ring Road! Siya Jasmine Courtyard Hotel has just opened, and the entire property is impeccably maintained. The charming, traditional Chinese courtyard infused with subtle jasmine scents creates a flawless blend of authentic old-Beijing vibes and relaxed luxury. The amenities easily rival those of high-end boutique hotels. The rooms feature smart controls so you can manage everything by voice commands. The bathroom has a smart three-piece layout with sparkling clean, brand-new fixtures, along with thoughtful touches like alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers—an absolute dream for germaphobes. The room is spacious, the mattress and pillows offer just the right balance of comfort and support, and it was so quiet at night that you couldn't hear any traffic from the hutongs at all. The service offers a true butler-style experience. The staff are warm, gentle, and always ready to help. They even proactively upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations for local hutong eateries and sightseeing routes. The facilities are also top-notch, featuring a 24-hour self-service laundry room, a gym, and a tea room, making extended stays a breeze. The location couldn't be better. Tucked away in the Dongsi hutongs, it's just a short walk to Dongsi Subway Station, making it super easy to visit the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Lama Temple, with local hutong street food right outside the door. Staying in a traditional siheyuan—exploring historic imperial sites by day and sipping tea peacefully in the courtyard by night—is truly the most authentic way to experience Beijing. This place is definitely on my go-to list, and I'll be back on my next trip to Beijing!

This courtyard-style hotel in a hutong truly captures the charm of old Beijing. Yet, the facilities are modern and new, and the service is on par with international standards. The front desk staff provided a concise yet detailed introduction to the hotel, highlighting the restaurant, 24-hour self-service water bar, ice cups, and coffee – everything you could need. The butler service was attentive and online without being intrusive. The rooms feature a complete smart home solution. The public terrace offers great views; there are no tall buildings within the Second Ring Road, so you can enjoy the sky, trees, and birdwatching in the evening. The most interesting part was the private terrace in our room. Looking at the highest point of the neighboring roof at night, we saw a cat-shaped figure – a truly agile hutong cat! 🐱

The hotel is located in a hutong (alley) in Dongsi Sitiao, offering an authentic and tranquil Beijing hutong experience. You can easily go for a city walk, and the nearby Dongsi West Street and Longfusi commercial area provide a plethora of dining options. Subway Lines 5 and 6 are conveniently located in the Longfusi commercial area, about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself has well-equipped facilities, including a laundry room and a mini-gym, and the service is quite attentive. These are the hotel's advantages. On the more average side, the rooms are quite small, and both the bathroom and shower are separate and very compact. Given its location within the Second Ring Road hutongs and being a renovated old residence, this is understandable. However, some of the hotel's policies felt a bit stingy. During the National Day holiday, I booked four consecutive nights at over 1,000 RMB per night, but the minibar and afternoon tea were only complimentary on the first day and not for the following three. This feels unfair to guests staying for multiple nights. Therefore, I would recommend this hotel for those who want to experience Beijing's hutongs, but perhaps only for one night. For longer stays, there are other hotels and guesthouses with better service.

My husband and I took a four-day trip to Beijing during the National Day holiday, and this was our first time staying at a hotel in Dongsi Sitiao Hutong, which was a very novel experience. It also exceeded our expectations. All the staff we met at the hotel were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They were always responsive to our needs, answering all our questions and helping us upgrade our room to experience the luxury of a courtyard house. We are very grateful and satisfied. The location is also very central; cars can drive into the hutong, and taxis and shared bikes are readily available. The "Da Yuzhou" bar right outside the hotel has very fresh beer. Turning left out of the hutong, you'll find the Longfusi subway and commercial area, where the "live in the moment" bar is also very trendy and much better than all the bars in Shichahai.
