Jialong Hotel (Beijing Chaoyangmen) Reviews

We only stayed 2 nights in Beijing, with tours to Mitianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City (both through Mubus). Hotel is located very close to the subway, and quite close to the palace. Check in easy with phone translator. And lots of water in the room for the hot weather. There is a good restaurant downstairs on the main road that had good duck. Room was pricey for what we needed but very comfortable

The hotel itself and the service are just great! No smoking in the room, so there's no cigarette smell in the room as in 90% of other hotels in China.

Hotel was located near Chaoyangmen Subway, so it is very convenient. The room is adequate for a short-stay, however, the sound-proofing of the room requires improvement.

Been here (as a foreigner) together with my brother. We’ve had an awesome time and can’t complain. Service was good, breakfast was good, rooms were clean and internet was fast. It’s very close to both a metro station and a supermarket, so the location is extremely nice too.

The hotel was so good. Food was very delicious, and facilities is very nice. But, there are one thing that staffs can't speak english.

Good restaurant right in front of the hotel. Comfortable room and close to train station.

Unfortunatelly, the room was not the same as advertised. We were put in the older section of the hotel, less appealing, quite noisy. Will skip this hotel next time in Beijing.

Breakfast choice is limited for non Chinese, no coffee, no juice. On the way to rooms you need to go thru restaurant with many people cooking food, it does smell not good

Arrogant manager and receptionists were not speaking a single English word it was a challenge checking in

I would strongly reccomend not staying at this hotel. Location was fantastic, room was pristine, the cleanliness was high, but it had a large issue with the heater. The room was unable to cool down. The first night I set the air conditioning to about 16 degrees and when I woke up in the middle of the night the room was 27 degrees. Sweaty and upset I was unable to fall back asleep. When leaving for the day I set the room temperature to 10 degrees, but returning to the hotel it was 27 degrees in the room again. The lobby and hallways were nicely cool so I went to the lobby to ask questions. They said the hotel was fully booked and could not be moved, and they did try to provide me with fans to cool down their room, but their advice was to leave the hotel room door open. As my room was facing in there was no window that could be opened to cool down the room, so for a second night I had to deal with the uncomfortable temperature. My recommendation, find a different place, hotel seems great but you will be unable to sleep because of the heat.

The hotel was pretty nice for the price, with a great location not too far away from all of the local sights.

The hotel is close to the Metro station and the area is convenient to travel around in Beijing City. The room is just okay to stay one night because the room itself has the smell of smoking even though I already requested a non-smoking room. In addition, the toilet has a weird smell which the cleaner can't help.

Nice, cozy place. Easy to go around.
