The facilities are good, but the shower drain was slow. The cleanliness was excellent, and toilet paper was replenished upon request. The environment is lovely, and the back garden is beautiful, though there are restricted areas which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the staff in the back garden had a bad attitude.

Looking at its history, it was formerly a CPPCC hotel, and it really retains that government guesthouse style. The surrounding environment is absolutely unbeatable, especially the back garden. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's more than sufficient, and the coffee is freshly ground.

I was prepared for the outdated facilities before I arrived. I booked this place purely for the cats in the backyard. The first room I was assigned had a muddy handprint on the door. I took a photo and wiped it off immediately (I wasn't even thinking of changing rooms yet). After checking the room, I decided to go to the front desk and ask for a different one. The front desk, after sending someone to check, tried to argue that it was glue left over from a wedding decoration the day before. This explanation was absolutely ridiculous; mud isn't sticky, after all. The hotel manager later even asked me to cancel my booking on the platform and deal with them directly for the accommodation, claiming it was their way of compensating me and expressing their apology. If they truly wanted to apologize and compensate us, they wouldn't need us to cancel the platform order; they could just compensate us directly (there are many ways to do that). So, this suggestion just showed that the hotel didn't want me to have the opportunity to leave a bad review. After changing to a different room, the stairs were covered in dust. A vent near the staircase on the second floor had very thick dust and wasn't blowing any air. The buttons on the room phone for contacting various hotel departments were all broken, and there were no other labels, making it impossible to call the front desk or other departments from the room. The front desk later said to press 0, but this wasn't indicated in the room. The revolving door in the lobby didn't have a safety stop and almost trapped me.

The environment is truly lovely. On May 2nd, there were various cultural activities organized by Beijing's Bureau of Culture and Tourism at Junwangfu, which made the courtyard exceptionally charming and atmospheric. The accommodation itself is quite average, about a 3-star standard; the main experience here is really about the grand Wangfu compound itself. Chaoyang Park next door is highly recommended if you're with kids; the adventurer experience there is fantastic, with different levels for junior, intermediate, and advanced ages. Superb!

This is my go-to hotel every time I'm in Beijing for business. The environment inside the Prince Jun's Mansion is beautiful, and you can even feed fish and pet cats. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but you can tell the materials used were top-notch, so even though it has a vintage feel, it's still very elegant and durable, unlike many budget hotels that use cheap furnishings.

Pleasantly surprised! This hotel is absolutely fantastic and offers incredible value for money. I had a disappointing stay at another hotel the night before, so I rebooked this one in the middle of the night. The overall vibe of the hotel is like an ancient manor. The high ceilings in the room are wonderful, making it feel very spacious and not at all cramped. The linens were decent. Breakfast was exquisite. This will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Beijing.
