Very good location, nearby S2 train. Great wall entrance is about 1km away. Host can speak good english. Room is very comfortable with enough amenities. Recommended

This is a cute tucked-in-a -corner type of hostel. Like a bed and breakfast. The room us a bit cold in December but it didnt deter me from coming back next year around August ir September. Not easy to find off the main road but following the map helps. The husband & wife team are excellent host and accomodating. I had problem ordering a taxi to Beijing and they helped me ordered a local cab within minutes. They went Abode and beyond

David, Spoke English (so does his wife). He met us when we arrived and was very helpful in orienting us. He brought us extra blankets for the cold & stayed in touch on WeChat with directions & clarifications as needed. The place was simple but it worked great for us! Fantastic value & a friendly welcome!

Staying here was like being part of the family. As soon as I had booked, May contacted me and assisted me in finding transport. Upon arrival, David came out to meet me to make sure I didn’t get lost. David also took me sightseeing a bit later. I was able to enjoy home cooked meals for supper and breakfast. It was just an incredible experience to be treated with such warmth and genuine care. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Even after I had left, David contacted me again to make sure I had arrived safely at my next destination. It was a genuine 5 star experience. 😀😀😀😀😀

The boss is very welcoming, the courtyard has beautiful flowers and trees, and the environment is very good. It is close to Badaling High-speed Railway Station and the entrance to the Great Wall. It would be even better if the indoor sanitary facilities were improved.

We booked a hotel to go to the Great Wall in the morning. It was a real Beijing courtyard house with a good environment. We ate dumplings and noodles made by the old man, which were as good as those in restaurants outside. Since it is so convenient, the room facilities and environment are tolerant.

Itinerary: The high-speed train from Qinghe Station to Badaling Station arrived at around 3 pm. I took a nap. It rained when I wanted to see the Great Wall at night (you can ask the boss to help buy tickets). I got up at 5:30 the next morning and set off at 6:00. At 6:30, I followed the first group of people to take the north line. At 10 o'clock, I returned to the bed in the B&B to rest. I went out at 11 o'clock and walked to the S2 railway station next to it to take the 11:30 train back (this train is very slow but the scenery is beautiful, and you can also experience the famous zigzag railway reversing in person.) Location: Not far to the right of the entrance to Chadao Village. It is within walking distance of Badaling Great Wall Station, South Line Ground Cable Car, Great Wall Walking Entrance, and S2 Railway Station (it takes about 10 to 20 minutes with children, and it is faster than taking a shuttle bus without luggage). Environment: It feels a bit simple when you just enter Chadao Village and walk into the yard. But in the past two days, I found that every sofa, chair and pot of flowers in the small courtyard were placed appropriately. Others: The entire Chadao Village is full of homestays, and this one is almost the closest to all. The southern boss's wife is meticulous and thoughtful, the northern boss is gentle and elegant, the boss's parents are not talkative but thoughtful and appropriate, the yard also has a ping-pong table and go, sitting on the recliners, several children are chattering and running around, the cool breeze blows, and everything slows down. This is my second stay. The service is warm and the facilities are complete. I like the inn's courtyard very much. The old apricot tree has ripe, big and sweet fruits that people in the city can't enjoy. I will stay at your house next time.
