Excellent location right at the entrance to the Great Wall and in 10 min walk to the main street with food stalls and attractions. The room was spacious, with a huge balcony. The hosts don't speak English, but we used an interpreter and it was ok. Breakfast served as a buffet with warm options to choose from the day before. Overall very nice place to stay.

The inn is in a prime location, close to the Dragon and Phoenix Pond and the escort agency. The food is delicious and not expensive. The facilities are a bit old. The owner and his family are warm and hospitable. I have a small suggestion: whether there are guests in the restaurant (which is also the front desk), the owner and his family and the staff are chatting about family matters without paying attention to others, which makes the guests a little annoyed.

The room is on the first floor. It is slightly damp in summer, but maybe it will be better in winter. The bedding is very clean. Quaint little bnb, location is the best aspect as it's super close to the great wall starting point so easy to get there nice and early
