We enjoyed our stay!! The room was amazing and the breakfast and amenities were beyond our expectations. The location was convenient to access cable car to the great wall. During our stay Moyna and Chang were incredibly helpful, courteous and provided exemplary customer service! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back.

Well-maintained hot spring japanese style hotel with excellent amenities and services. Great view to Simatai Great Wall from the room. The staffs are doing their best to fulfill your needs and with an excellent response time. Breakfast are perfect with a lot of variation and well presented. Hot spring both in room and public are well maintained and cleaned with all your needs to enjoy hot spring holiday. The gym is small but well maintained and enough to keep you fit during holidays. We think the hotel is worth every penny you spent.

Great stay at the Royal Hot Spring hotel and definitely a good spot to climb the Great Wall - Si Ma Tai due to its location. Hot spring bath tub in room and a Japanese style room and the service staffs was ready to serve and polite and try to assist us in all ways. Definitely recommended to book and stay.

Japanese style hotel with clean and nice view. Booked for two nights stay but need to cancel one night because my train was cancelled from xian due to wether. Hotel was nice to cancel my booking without any problem although the original term and condition say no cancellation 2 days before arriving. Will stay there again if have chance.

Hotel had a nice hot spring tub in our room, and the public hot spring pool was also very nice. The tatami was very kid friendly, but would have preferred all the rooms be on the same floor. One of the rooms’ tatami had a slight musty smell but not a big deal. Great location inside the water town and very close to the Simatai Great Wall cable car.

Great hotel Japanese style with hot spring

It is very convenient to drive to the city. You can get to the Beijing-Chengde-Daguang Expressway and arrive right after getting off the expressway. From parking the car, picking up the service center, to the hotel, the journey was very smooth and the service was very good. In winter, we also gave away tickets for Jinshanling skiing, which is worth it. The hotel has a small front door, but it is a different world inside. It is very quiet overall. The rooms are large and spacious. The water speed and temperature of the private hot spring are very good, and there are not many people in the public hot spring. The Sukiyaki dinner and the buffet breakfast we ordered are both very rich. The drone show in the evening is also great, but it is very cold... I will consider bringing my family back next time!

First time staying at Yushe, overall three and a half stars Let's talk about the obvious advantages first: large room, rich breakfast, basically complete facilities, quiet location in a busy city. Let's talk about the disadvantages: First of all, the service. A gentleman at the front desk who was mentioned many times in other reviews, I don't know if it's the same person, has a cold tone. I called at night to ask if there is a shower cap, and he said no. I said what if I need it? He said I can ask for it, can't I ask all at once? I asked for two shower caps, but I was sent one shower cap and one cotton pad... Let's talk about hot springs. Isn't the reason why it is twice as expensive as Wuzhen because of private hot springs? The water was released at 8 o'clock in the evening, and it was still half cold and not hot when it was full at 9 o'clock. I called and it was still the gentleman who received it before. He said that this was the temperature. I said it was too cold to soak, and asked to contact someone to check. Ten minutes later, he called back and asked me to try again in half an hour. 😓I tried it at 9:40, and the water was indeed much hotter, but I gave up directly when I thought I had to let it run for another hour. Also, the housekeeper clearly said that the car that brought us here could be taken to the hotel entrance, but the shuttle bus was only placed at the station, saying that it was not far to walk there. 😓 When picking up, you can indeed call a car to the door. The gym is probably not used by many people, so there is no one on duty and no yoga mat. The indoor air conditioner has been turned to the maximum, but it can only be kept at 19 degrees. Finally, a quilt was added. In summary, for a room price of more than 2,400... Anyway, I won't go there again

Gubei Water Town is still very leisurely in the off-season. Without the crowds and noise, you can stroll at your own pace. There are few people in the hotel, and the hot spring is also reserved. The man with glasses at the front desk is not very enthusiastic, and his expression makes people feel uncomfortable. It’s not that he asks for more enthusiasm, but compared with the other two (one man and one woman), he is not a little bit worse. Except for this one, the other staff are very professional. I came to Yushe when it just opened, and I have been coming here one after another in the past few years. The location is very good, but some details are a bit old, such as the power supply does not have a USB port, and the sound insulation of the room under the stairs is also a bit poor. Overall, it is a good choice for family travel.
