Junhefu Courtyard Hotel (Nanluoguxiang)

The room was clean, the location was great, and the service was exceptionally good. It was a wonderful way to experience Beijing's hutong culture. This was my first time staying in a hutong hotel, and I had a fantastic experience. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I come back to Beijing.

I checked in during the evening for a business trip and received a free room upgrade. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they patiently answered all my questions thoroughly. The breakfast offered a choice of three set menus, which provided a good variety. The room was spotlessly clean. Overall, my stay was very pleasant.

The hotel is located in Baochao Hutong, a traditional Old Beijing alleyway. The courtyard is very comfortable, perfect for relaxing and playing chess, and great for families with kids staying for multiple days. You can easily bike to the Drum Tower and Nanluoguxiang for meals and shopping. It's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, but biking is more convenient. The front desk staff are very friendly. They arranged a private car to the Great Wall for 500 yuan, which saved a lot of hassle and was very comfortable.

Huge thanks to Junhefu for the warm welcome! The courtyard is beautifully serene and elegant, truly capturing the charm of old Beijing's hutongs. It's super convenient for visiting Nanluoguxiang and Houhai. The staff's service attitude was genuinely excellent. We booked two rooms, and one of them had a musty smell due to dampness. The staff patiently helped us check out of that room. Although it was a minor inconvenience, their service deserves high praise. I hope the hotel can improve the damp-proofing issues in their old buildings.
