large and comfortable hotel, well located. friendly staff, delicious food. for breakfast there was both European and traditional. electric The sockets are of a mixed type, some are connected to a Russian plug, for others I had to use an adapter.

Beijing was the last stop on our month-long trip to China. This hotel was the worst we'd ever stayed in! It's very expensive, very old and very run-down. Don't be fooled by the renovated lobby: the rooms are in shambles! Take a look at my photos... The walls are dirty, the pillows are uncomfortable, the shower leaks in the bathroom, the mirror is damaged, etc.

Good location hotel, full of history and attractions to explore nearby. Prices were reasonable in this tier. The Russia restaurant contains full history for old Beijing people, it was the best and most expansive western food restaurant back in the 70s.

Beautiful hotel in the center, 50m from Metro 2-5 station.
Ming wall 300m.
Large room was provided to us, very clean.
Breakfast with lot of variety, dinner buffet complete and good fresh quality.
Very good adress for travelers.

location perfect! just infront the subway exit, close to shopping mall and well connected with 2 subway line. Airport Express & Railway station are also well connected. The staff is helpful too, assist to call taxi and advise how to get to those places of interest.

We book the room with triple bed.. the room was big. The location very easy to access.. metro just in front of the hotel.. the minus just the room light very dim.

Enjoyed staying here. Late check-in no problem, early check-out no problem, bags can be left with the concierge.
Bedroom was standard, room was comfortable, a/c working. Can be cleaned once a day.
Didn't eat at the hotel (breakfast I did not purchase).
Basically out of the Metro you are at the hotel. Location is great and area not too busy.

The location is very accessible to some tourist destinations like The Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. It’s also just 2 minutes walk from the subway station.

I always like to come back to this hotel. Good location, lots of attractions within walking distance. Check-in and services smooth, all very friendly.
Room functionally furnished, unfortunately the lighting is a bit dark!

The hotel is located at Chongwenmen station. The B1 exit is right in front of hotel. However, there is no escalator at that exit. The closest one is at C exit and cross the road back. There are many shopping malls and restaurants at the opposite and the other road at the nearest intersection.
The staff was nice and could speak English. We had earlu check-in. However, there was no available room at that time, so the staff upgraded our room and we could do early check-in. The room was spacious and clean. There were several things that I would suggest to improve.
1. The air conditioner should be switched to cooling mode on hot or warm days.
2. On the first day, there was smoking smell in the room. just for the first day. We booked for non-smoking, but I also found this problem with other hotel I used to stay.
3. in April, there was pollen dispersal during that time. it wouldl be better if the window was close all the time. There was a day that staff might forget to close the window and those pollen spreaded into the room.
Fortunately, the hotel provided air purifier and that really help for problem 2 and 3.
