We as a family of four with two 7yo who visit China for the first time love this stay very much. One thing we love is its proximity to main tourist sites like Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Temple of Heaven, etc. The service is top-notched. Every staff member is friendly and would proactively offer assistance. The Meituan delivery lockers are in the secure place indoor. Love it. The hotel is one of a kind, like a museum. Make sure you spend sometime tour around. Some of the art pieces are better than the ones in actual museum.

Grand Hotel Beijing offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. The facilities are top-notch, the location is unbeatable, and the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I stayed in a room that had a breathtaking view of the Forbidden City! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. It is truly a home away from home.

Great place to stay and the hotel is very beautiful. Walk distance to attraction and shopping mall behind the hotel. Breakfast is good and you will sometime need to order from the menu. congestion. Only shortfall is the traffic to and from hotel due to traffic. So avoid the peak time 8 to 9.30am and 5 to 8pm.

Grand Hotel Beijing is centrally located, within walking distance from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National History Museum. The staff is generally very helpful. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choices of Chinese and Western food.

Location is great, close to major anchors in central Beijing, hotel is very clean, spacious and well designed, breakfasts are great. But I have to admit that the staff in the reception in some cases act like they have more important things to do than guests in front of them. They can ignore you, or start making calls of unclear nature or just walk away from you for a few minutes in the middle of conversation with you. It leaves a weird feeling that the hotel from the very entrance is showing you that you are not really important here, some other matters are.

Overall experience is very good and consider exceptional compared to my various stay at different hotel be it on leisure or business trips, except for a small incident that set me back on their service quality. I had a pair of Timberland shoes + socks packed in plastic bag (removed from my luggage upon arrived at hotel room) gone missing. Highly suspect their cleaner accidentally treat it as rubbish and thrown it away. Feedback to thier housekeeping team, a search and check was conducted and result in vain. So sad I missed my shoe, and end up I got to get a new pair for my returning flight home, as I am not prepared to wear a winter boot for a 6hrs flight. Hopefully thier cleaning staff will do a check before discard any items (which is not place in trash bin). On the positive end, they place a very nice strawberry the next day in my room, not sure if that is kind of compensation for the unhappy event or this is norm for visiting guest, but I didn't see anymore fruit on the other days of my stay. Overall, it is very good and perfect experience except the unhappy missing shoe event.

The grand hotel looks great in the lobby and its public area and it ends just there. The room looks bright and clean. The bed was very spacious and comfortable for tired travellers with children. However, the bathroom was very oversized bathroom allowing one person to use at any given time. It's a beautiful place to meet friends and chat at its restaurants but the price for the quality of the food is not worth it at all. The food tasted average while the price is very high.

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand hotel. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front door named “Huang Yang” helped us a lot when we were leaving/ boarding the taxi. He guided the taxi driver to the hotel and managed to load two big heavy luggage into the trunk. Other staff at the front door and the reception desk were also extremely approachable. Sorry I cannot remember all their names but thank you all!

Very nice hotel, convenient location right next to Wangfujing, excellent service. We would stay again in the future.

Great place. Fantastic view of the forbidden city.
