Pullman Beijing South

The hotel has been recently renovated, and there's a slight lingering smell, but it looks quite new, stylish, and appealing. The light switches are mechanical, and the room's main switch doesn't control the bathroom light, which is quite inconvenient. As a brand under the Accor chain, the Star Bolman Hotel has excellent toothbrushes. They have wooden handles, and the bristles don't shed at all. They're incredibly good, in my opinion, the best toothbrushes compared to any other chain hotel.

The newly renovated room was fantastic! The front desk was very thoughtful, upgrading us to a higher floor room and advising us that adding breakfast for children at the front desk would come with a discount. The hotel facilities are very new, and the decor is beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also quite good; in addition to the usual Chinese and Western options, the 'jianbing guozi' (savory crepes) were especially delicious. Plus, it offers incredible value for money. If I'm ever in Yizhuang again, I will definitely choose to stay here.

Avoid at all costs! Do not stay at Pullman Beijing South. It claims to be a five-star hotel, but the actual experience is even worse than a Hanting Hotel! My stay was from Sep 12-13. The food delivery robot was completely useless. Delivery drivers could only leave orders in the delivery cabinet, and I had to repeatedly call the front desk to retrieve my food. Multiple deliveries were delayed, and the constant communication was a huge hassle. The in-room landline was broken; when I called the front desk, they couldn't hear me. Even after reporting it, the staff who came to fix it couldn't get it working. What made me most furious was the complete lack of internal communication within the hotel. The room phone kept ringing, harassing me. When the landline couldn't connect, they repeatedly called my personal mobile number. Different staff members kept asking the same questions over and over. Despite the fault being reported, some staff even blamed me for not explaining the problem properly. The service attitude was absolutely terrible. It was also surprising that they still charged a deposit for check-in in 2026. When checking out, I had already provided my license plate number to the front desk for registration, but they entered it incorrectly, causing me to be charged 118 yuan for parking. This resulted in me being stranded in the parking lot for a full half hour. The room amenities were also subpar; the toothbrushes were of very poor quality. Despite its five-star claim, the hotel suffers from equipment malfunctions, poor internal communication, bad staff service attitude, and frequent errors in basic procedures. It was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The experience was extremely poor, I'm very angry, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place!

On a business trip to Beijing, I had an excellent experience. The front desk staff, Xiao Wei, was especially warm, efficient, and had a lovely smile, which made this business trip much more pleasant. Pullman will be my first choice for my next business trip.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Beijing South (Yizhuang), and the experience truly exceeded my expectations! I just had to write this review to express my sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff. First and foremost, a special mention to front desk agent He Ran! During check-in, He Ran was not only enthusiastic and communicated clearly but also thoughtfully upgraded my room for free. The moment I opened the door and saw the more spacious room with a better view, I was pleasantly surprised. This level of professionalism and warmth, putting guests' needs first, truly made me feel valued. The room service also left a lasting impression. I noticed the room was missing a floor mat during my stay, so I called to inquire. To my surprise, the room service staff responded incredibly quickly and delivered the mat to my room right away. What touched me even more was that throughout the delivery, the staff member maintained a warm smile and a polite, gentle demeanor, making the interaction very pleasant. Moreover, I absolutely have to rave about the hotel's breakfast buffet! The variety was incredibly rich, with everything from hot Chinese noodles to Western pastries and fresh fruits, all of which tasted great. Starting each day with such a sumptuous breakfast was truly a delight. From He Ran's enthusiastic upgrade to the meticulous room service and the delicious and diverse dining options, every detail at Pullman Beijing South (Yizhuang) made me feel right at home. Next time I'm in Yizhuang, this will definitely be my top choice! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing for leisure or business!

No sense of service at all. The hallways reeked of renovation odors. Staff were everywhere, but when you needed help, they were clueless. I waited ages for customer service after calling, but got no response. I provided my license plate at check-in, but when I tried to leave, I was stuck at the parking exit for over 10 minutes. I called staff again, waited a few more minutes, and when I finally got through, they said they didn't remember my license plate! Why didn't they call back to ask if they didn't remember? Unbelievable. It's a single building with two underground parking elevators. I asked three different staff members which elevator was closer to the front desk and which parking zone I should use. All of them said they didn't know or weren't sure.

Our stay at the Pullman Hotel was incredibly comfortable. Both my foreign executive colleague and I agreed it was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. The robot greeter and robot room service truly impressed and delighted my colleague. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a deep and high-quality sleep. The toothbrush was excellent – sturdy yet soft, cleaning very effectively. It surpassed even the professional toothbrushes recommended by Meinian Dajiankang, making it the best hotel toothbrush I've ever used. The toiletries were fantastic; the shower gel had a lovely scent. The bathroom water heater was convenient and provided hot water instantly. The automatic flushing toilet was also very handy. The hairdryer was very modern, utilizing the latest technology, similar to the newest models found in Xiaomi stores, and dried hair incredibly fast. The room was spacious and overall very tidy. The walk-in closet had an iron and even a spare large black umbrella, which was a very thoughtful touch. There was ample space for luggage, and the long sofa with its soft, comfortable cushions was a nice addition. The buffet restaurant on the first floor was absolutely amazing and offered incredible value for money. Dinner included a wide variety of fresh seafood, lamb chops, kebabs, various Chinese and Western soups, many Chinese and Western dishes, desserts, drinks, ice cream, and more. The most impressive part was the drinks selection, which included freshly brewed hot brown sugar ginger tea and chrysanthemum tea. The brown sugar ginger tea was particularly thoughtful for women during their physiological period. There was also complimentary free-flow red wine. The menu changed nightly, and all the dishes were delicious. After our first dinner at the hotel, we ended up dining there every evening. We were truly touched by the hotel's attention to detail and genuine care for its guests. Everything was so well thought out, truly reflecting the hotel's dedication. The front desk, concierge, and check-in staff were also very professional, consistently providing patient and excellent service despite our frequent requests. A special thank you to Daisy at the front desk for her support. Overall, the entire stay was exceptionally comfortable. My foreign executive team and I will definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to Yizhuang; it's our favorite hotel. I sincerely commend all the staff at the hotel. It was truly wonderful!

The hotel is newly renovated with a very cozy decor, and the entire room smells lovely! Plus, the staff was exceptionally good. I emailed the hotel before checking in to let them know the gentleman I was with was celebrating his birthday. Not only did they upgrade our room, but they also sent a cake! The best part is the cake was absolutely delicious – freshly made, with a crispy crust, silky cream, and just the right amount of sweetness! My partner, who usually doesn't eat sweets, ended up eating more than half of it! I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you so, so much! 🥹
