Very special hotel, love the unique Chinese furniture and decoration which you can hardly find it elsewhere now, indeed a great experience! Staff is very helpful and friendly! Be careful of the mosquitoes in summer though.

It was such an unique experience to stay in a courtyard hotel, ie a 四合院， it felt like travelled back to China in the olden days. Despite this hotel being more than a 100 years old, the toilets were upgraded to modern standard, and it was thoughtfully designed such that the sink area is installed outside the toilet, making it more convenient for the guests, especially for family room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we asked to add an additional mattress to the extra bed, it was done so when we came back from our trip. We didn't purchase the tickets to the Gugong museum, ie 故宫博物馆 and Prince Gong mansion, ie 恭王府，the staff happily helped us to book and taxis to various places as well. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them at home at all times.

We have a pleasant stay there. The location is excellent. it is very near to metro station and shopping centres. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The aunty cooks delicious breakfast for us. This is a memorable stay for us. Thank you.

Our stay at Jing Yuan Courtyard Hotel was a pleasant experience. It is ideally located in Wangfuying area. A short walk from JinyuHutong MTR station. But far from Wangfujing MTR station and bus stop. There is a Starbucks and Mcdonalds few steps away. Daily Chinese breakfast available from 7-930am. Staffs are very courteous and accommodating. Bedrooms are clean and smell good. Staffs clean the surroundings daily. We even have an open air shaded garden where we can sit, eat, chat and idle the day away. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a difference ambiance from traditional hotels.

I am a person who seldom writes reviews, but today I want to write about this Jingyuan Hotel. I can sum it up in one word: "good". Unfortunately, I stayed here on my last two days in Beijing. I should have stayed here as soon as I arrived. It is quiet in the bustling city, antique, clean and hygienic. It is next to Wangfujing, the Forbidden City, Qianmen, Tiananmen Square and the subway station. Those who want to take palace photos don't need to go elsewhere, as it is the most authentic here. Being in Jingyuan, I felt as if I had returned to that era. I really wanted to stay a few more days, but the schedule did not allow it. Next time if I have the chance to come to Beijing, I will definitely stay here. However, there are also small shortcomings. The mosquitoes only bite people. You can consider disinfecting mosquitoes.

I specifically searched for a courtyard house on the platform. I brought my children to experience the old Beijing courtyard house during the summer vacation. I was very satisfied. The room was very big and the yard was beautiful. The photos I took with the children turned out particularly well. I regretted not booking this hotel earlier. I will come again next time!

The courtyard environment is good, very quiet at night, the room is clean and tidy, and the room has complete supplies. The front desk will give satisfactory answers to travel inquiries, and the breakfast old Beijing noodles with soybean paste is good. A satisfactory accommodation experience.

The environment is really good, the courtyard house rebuilt from Zuo Zongtang's former residence. The room is quite small. But what else do you need a motorcycle for this environment and location? The only thing is the bedding and facilities. The cheapest room I booked costs more than 1,400. It's not cheap. But I feel itchy all over when I lie down on the bed, and the sheets are too rough! It is recommended to purchase some bedding with a more delicate feel. There is also a hair dryer, the wind blown out is small and hot. The shower gel and shampoo are in large bottles of Liushen. The old man almost had a heat stroke on the first day he went to the Forbidden City. On the second day, he rested alone in the hotel. He asked Xiao Song at the front desk to help take care of the old man's lunch. He was very considerate and sent dumplings to the room. The first night of check-in may be due to the garbage removal of the shopping mall near Wangfujing in the middle of the night, the noise is a bit loud, affecting the rest, the second night is very quiet. Personal experience: The pillow is high. The waiter said that the air cotton pillow is fine when communicating on the first night. But the personal feeling is still high and uncomfortable. On the second night, I clearly asked to change to a thin pillow again, and the waiter also helped to solve it. If there is no noise to disturb, change to a thin pillow. A good night's sleep, the breakfast variety is not large and can be completely ignored. It can be considered according to the standard of homestay.
