Sunworld Beijing Wangfujing Hotel (The Forbidden City)

We stayed in the standart room but the staff at the reception Hero upgraded us to superior room understanding our late arrival and jetlag. Definitely would recommend this hotel to families who are staying near the forbidden city

New, clean, and comfortable hotel. No cigarette smell at all. Great location with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. Highly recommended!

Hotel location is great, a short walk to wangfujing pedestrian walk with lots of malls around. Room is dated but location and service makes up for it. Staff, Felix, is very helpful and approachable, giving us directions and booking didi for us. By the way, the simple shower system is good with strong water pressure which offers quick and easy rinsing although not the same can be said of the 2 separate hot and cold taps at the basin. It was difficult to adjust to the right temperature without having to waste much water everytime it was turned on. Nevertheless it was a great stay at Sunworld.

Its located in prime location near everywhere and easy to call Didi. Walking to malls and foods. Booking family room. It's clean and have window. Great accomodation, value for money

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Wangfujing. There are many snack shops, restaurants and a few hair salons next to and in front of the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with hailing a taxi and showing us how to get to the various attractions. The hotel even provided a small map to guide us on foot to and from the Palace Museum. Very special is this hotel very family friendly, the have connecting room for the family to stay in, for us, we can take care of our girls without open the door and go to another room. The daily housekeeping was very thorough. The female housekeeper responsible for our rooms 715 and 716 was particularly friendly, attentive, and responsible. My daughter accidentally spilled soy milk on the carpet and bed; I informed her, and she promised to handle it. When we returned to the room that evening, the carpet and bed were spotless, without any smell or stains. We were very satisfied with the hotel's service. We will stay in this hotel again when we go to Beijing again.

Great location with plenty of places to eat close by. Hotel facilities good especially free laundry ( came in very handy)

Returned back to hotel after 2 days in Tangshan. This time was allocated 7 floor city view old room. Room and carpet are old. Toilet not that clean. The tissue paper cover not properly secured. Both new and old rooms come with air purifier and drinks in the fridge are complementary
