I had a fantastic stay at Villa Li (Beijing Wangfujing Courtyard). The good location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made my trip memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to return in the future.

The staff is really nice and helpful but the rooms are less good than expected. The room was smelling really bad, after two nights they had been able to change our room, and it was better. The location is great but no breakfast and common areas.

Rooms are nice. There are many restaurants near hotel. Easy to access by metro.

What made the hotel stay comfortable?
1. The front desk staff (the ladies) were WONDERFUL, patient, kind and extremely helpful.
2. The blankets and towels were clean, the room was average clean, some dirty spots but nothing worrisome.
What made the hotel stay UNBEARABLE?
1. The TOILET WAS CLOGGED AT ALL TIMES . Every time we used it the water was about to overflow. Completely unhygienic and disgusting, it was not possible to use the toilet without having to flush it maybe 4 times and wait almost 10 minutes until it all went away. A room for three with this problem was quite problematic.
2. The hotel has no sound isolation, you hear everything from other rooms. During night time you could hear everything making sleep very difficult.
2. The reading area/resting area (public area) is use to dry clothes and the blankets for the rooms. Not possible to use for the guests.
-The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. -

me and my girlfriend like it here. the room is clean and the toilet is great 👍🏻. the frontdesk also gives a good service and super kind. THE CAT HERE IS CUTE, you can pet it if you want... totally recommend it 👍🏻

Good location, walking distance to the main pedestrian road (15 min) and 5-10 min taxi ride to main attractions like Tiananmen and The Palace Museum.
Also, the service from Xiao Wang was exceptional!

We liked it very much to stay at Villa Li.
The cats were very friendly, but the their smell not that much.
