It's ok, quite satisfactory, but the breakfast is a bit monotonous, nothing delicious, basically no food, the room is clean, and the surrounding area is not too noisy.

Didn't expect much from the hotel. Very modest, no bathroom amenities (shampoo, etc.), only shower gel in a dispenser. I had to ask for an iron, as it seems to be the only one for the whole hotel. Very high humidity, the bed always felt damp. I asked for a non-smoking room, yes, it was written on the floor that the floor was non-smoking. But when I just went into the room, the feeling was that a company of 10 people had just smoked there. There was also an ashtray - accordingly, it is assumed that you can smoke .. Bed linen was changed the day before departure. Once I bought breakfast, also very modestly, there is no choice ... The hotel itself is right in Hamra, close to many shops, restaurants, close (walking 15 minutes) to Zaituna Bay. The staff is very friendly, they always tried to fulfill the wishes quickly. In general, if you are only going to sleep, then it’s fine.

I just stayed 2 nights but it's clean and comfortable, in a great location. My room was spacious and the bathroom had an excellent shower. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. This is a great choice for a good value for money stay in Beirut.

We stayed there for couple of nights , I did not have a high expectation from the hotel . I wanted a hotel just to sleep for couple of nights since we had full day plans so I got what i need a good hotel with reasonable price and with great location ( 10 meters from Hamra street) The rooms are not so clean and the furniture is a little bit old , in other hand the staff were doing their best to serve us as a guests and especially Riad ( at the reception) he was helpful and he gave me advise with choosing the suitable room for the family . as i said the location is good if you want to spend your time in hamra since you can go walking to most of the places in the area , and its good location in beirut if you want to move anywhere.

My money ($1,900) was stolen in my room (301) at Cavalier hotel Beirut on 18th July 2022 between the hrs of 10pm & 12.05 midnight. My colleague staying in room 305 and I left the hotel that faithful night around 10pm to eat and return to the hotel after 12 midnight, and the next morning at 7am when I was ready for the airport to catch my flight at 10.15am on Turkish airline I then realised the money I placed in my hand luggage was gone so I alerted the reception immediately and requested to see CCTV camera. It took them about 15 minutes to find the password to access the camara and unfortunately most part of the Video looks blank ( I watch the Video about 5 minutes) and because I was in the hurry to catch my flight I have to leave to avoid missing my flight so there was not much time to scrutinise the CCTV . Upon my arrival in my home country I contacted the Beirut police to lodge a formal complaint and hoping for the best outcome. I strongly recommend do not leave your valuables items including money at Cavalier hotel Beirut whiles you're away from your room. This sad situation is my first time money has been stolen from me at a hotel.

Great hotel. Staff all amazing especially Bashar at Reception who is an absolute hero. We arrived after a difficult trip and he was so helpful on so many fronts. Where and how to get money and the best exchange rates (especially with financial problems) where to eat, what to do, advise on what to do on our short stay, taxis, day trips and more. He was so helpful. Thank you so much Bashar, best reception ever! Hotel location was perfecy to walk to central site and a 20 minute drive to the airport. Room was big and clean. Breakfast option would have been good. Amazing restaurant across the road with the best local food.

Right in the center of Hamra district of Beirut, very close to all the bars and cafes with nice size rooms and a very helpful staff. The bed was nice and very clean restrooms. a bit dated furnishings, but ok.

10 night stay with my teenage son, each in their own room. We liked: - The location, in the heart of Hamra, lively, central, all amenities very close - The quality of the bedding, that of a 4-star Western hotel - The spacious, well soundproofed rooms, with large balcony - The cleaning , very well done, new towels and large bottle of water every day. - The flexibility of checking out at 12 p.m., or even later, compared to 11 a.m. in most hotels and AirBnbs around the world We liked less: - The obligation to pay in full for the 10 nights of our stay upon check-in - The technical problem with the room key cards. Forced to have them reactivated at the desk, once or twice a day, for ten days - The pressure exerted at reception to take the taxi associated with the hotel, even though we had our own organization - The capricious WiFi. - The absence of air conditioning in the corridors and the two elevators. Not dramatic… but suffocating in this summer of 2023.

Simple hotel but spacious and clean rooms (with balcony) in a convenient location for visiting the city. It is located in the historical and economic area of Beirut, close to many restaurants. Friendly staff. Breakfast is best done outside the hotel. The value for money is excellent.
