Traveled there especially for a very exclusive event and also stayed overnight. Castle hotel with a view of the water. Art in the park. Pool and wellness. Arrival from Belfast city airport by train (towards Bangor). Only a few meters walk from the platform to the hotel.

Told the staff I was coeliac, to be reassured that practically everything was gluten free I then ask them to double check, for to see if the chips were gf for a response of " do you not eat chips at home..." low and behold it turns out what I was given was not gluten free I was sick for days so I rang up to complain and the manager apologised and said what I was given was not gluten free!!! He did say they will make their staff aware but after reading more reviews here it seems to have the same theme of making their staff aware. The reason I'm so upset is I have been violently ill for days and all they have to say is sorry it actually was gluten free. That is not close to a 5 star service In my eyes.

Amazing, Bar food was very suitable for vegetarian, great service. The Spa was amazing. Well worth a visit.!Beautiful Gardens and a short walk to a costal path……………………… Went for my husbands 50th, lovely touch as they had upgraded our room and had a lovely birthday muffin on arrival.

Wonderful hotel and staff, fully deserving of their five star ranking. Excellent evening meal and wide range of breakfast options. A well equipped spa and gym. I always make a point of trying to stay here each time I come to NI. Just a short drive from George Best Airport and twenty minutes from the passenger port terminal.

Culloden experience was top class. Breakfast was fabulous. Cormac and his team were exceptional and very welcoming. Swimming pool very relaxing and lovely to be able to have a coffee or drink beside the pool. I Can't wait to return soon. Thank you Cormac and to all your team.

We have stopped by at the hotel on the way back home with my 4 years old girl for a quick bite to eat. My dining experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive duty manager Nayeem made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!”

A balance between Luxury and comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a beautifully decorated suite as it was a special occasion, which had exceptional views of the gardens and the lough. There are several restored features from the original building such as the stain glass windows. The location is perfect with a nearby train station that brings you to the city center. I attended the spa and had a relaxing treatment before heading for a delicious cocktail in Lough bar. We ate in the Cultra Inn that night and I am still dreaming about the chicken curry and Parmesan fries. Breakfast was very personal to the hotel, as it was full of local produces including the scuffins which were delicious. Overall Culloden, far exceed my high expectations and was a truly fantastic experience.

Whilst the estate is beautiful, house and gardens, the ingredients on menu in main restaurant was disappointing. Restaurant service below par, with the exception of one waitress. The food was disappointing also. However, the breakfast was excellent.
