This is probably the best Hampton Inn that we have stayed at. The Hotel was Clean, fresh, and new. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wooded surroundings are a refreshing change from highways and parking lots. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Overall this hotel is very nice. The free breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. My car was broken into while parked at the hotel. It certainly wasn't the hotels fault that this happened as there were 8 cars in total broken into during Friday night into Saturday morning. It would have been nice to have been offered some kind of discount for the stay or something. Again, not the hotels fault and this appears to have been an isolated incident but a definite turn off, all-be-it unfair to the hotel, but I likely won't stay here again.

I realize it's not the hotel's fault the power went out around 3:00 in the afternoon and was still out the following morning. But it would still be nice for at least one person working there to apologize for the inconvenience, or seem to know it's a major hassle for people who are staying there. Instead, they didn't appear to care about what was going on. Also, and this is a huge deal, how does the North Carolina building code allow them to not have emergency lighting in the hallways or the stairwells? Both of those were 100% dark, and if there were a fire or any other emergency at the hotel, having no lighting at all would be very dangerous for people trying to quickly exit the building. This may otherwise be a fairly nice hotel, but my one night there was more than enough for me.

Incredibly overpriced, especially considering the deposit for, “incidentals!" At least the deposit hits your account within minutes now, instead of a week later like it used to! But, still, it’s not a pleasant surprise when you think you have already paid for a room, just to have to pay the same amount AGAIN when you check-in! So, if your traveling keep at least $250 extra to cover this added expense!!

Nikki at the front desk made our stay very enjoyable! We were a large group from out of town and the hotel was booked with other guests. She was very helpful and handled our large group with ease and consideration. She made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
