Spectacular oean views. good food. room is clean and comfortable.

Booked sea view room (Nab) it was excellent. Large & airy with windows on two sides & excellent sea view. Only slight ******, the bath could do with an anti-slip mat. Nearly slipped whilst having a shower. Also, grab handle on wall would be helpful for those of us not quite so nimble. However, that ****** was slightly countered by the fact that the extractor fan actually worked - most unusual! The food in the restaurant was plentiful & delicious, apart from the pudding! The chocolate brownie had the rasberry gel missing and the Eton Mess had no ice cream. I think the chef was rushing to get home! Breakfast was fantastic! Staff were cheerful, friendly & efficient. Bottom line, that will be the place we stay next time we go to the IOW.

Stayed there the W/E of 26/27th April. Beautiful sea view room. Great food, and most of all, great staff. We will be back. Got a seafood platter for 2 on the Sat night. The selection on the plate was great, and tasteful to eat. Wine selection was also good.

We loved our stay at the Crab and Lobster. The whole team were really friendly and welcoming. The views from the front of the building were so scenic and the captains breakfast was amazing we had it both mornings.

Superb location, lovely room (The Nab), excellent dinners, beautiful breakfasts, and staff who bent over backwards to make our planned and extended stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Many thanks to Bruce, Michelle, Connor, Nats, Stu and Evie.

Rooms very tired need updating, no bath mat in very slippery bath, no handle to hold onto. Very unsafe. No fans to offer in this extreme heat. Staff first class, best part of the accommodation. The view from our room was a brick wall. Kitchen fans running from 8.00am till around 10.30 very noisy. Food prices were ridiculous totally overpriced. Definitely would not stay there again

Good and bad, booked nab room for my birthday and anniversary, when we arrived at 4.pm ish went straight to nab room, omg it was freezing, couldn't work heating, husband went and asked how to work it and they didn't know but 30 minutes later heating came on, well slightly, 2 thirds of radiator didn't work, room very big and lots windows, never have I spent the evening in my coat and scarf in a hotel. We were both very cold. Went for booked meal which was good and had glass of free procecco each for our celebration, which was nice. Got back to room and still very cold,still cold in night and morning. Room was OK but needs a bit off TLC. Great views. Good breakfast but ordered poached eggs and crispy bacon chef forgot bacon and had to wait. Think the place are concentrateing on bar and food. Staff and manager tryed but not sorted, not really good enough or of place to go in winter time.

We had a good experience here. We hadn't booked but as they were just opening for the evening it was very quiet. It did get busier later on. The food is a little expensive but was plentiful and tasty. The service was excellent and the host very friendly. The tables were set beautifully with a candle. The toilets were clean. My only criticism was that it was a bit cold in the restaurant. I would return.
