Estamos una vez más alojados en el "Poseidón playa Benidorm". Ni que decir tiene que el trato es exquisito, en la limpieza de todas sus estancias cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle. En cuanto al buffet libre ni que decir tiene de la profesionalidad de los cocineros y el personal que trabaja en él. Pero dentro del conjunto existen tres grandes pilares que soportan el gran peso del trabajo de cada jornada. Como principal baluarte reseñar la figura de Antonio: un estupendo profesional de hostelería que lo lleva en la sangre. En el segundo y en tercer lugar ni que decir de Cristian y Matías, que son dos auténticos "todo terreno". Hay que ver estos tres trabajadores como viven el oficio; por y para el cliente. Resaltar también la amabilidad de la Gerente, que ha interrumpido su almuerzo, para atender una sugerencia de mejora. Y por último, el verdadero pulmón de este magnífico hotel, en cuanto a la calidez, paciencia, vocación y eficacia de la recepcionista "Minh". Que es expeditiva, resolutiva, y súper atenta. Ofreciendo un servicio y una imagen, que ya quisieran tener el resto de hoteles de Benidorm. Desde aquí gracias a todo el equipo del "Poseídon Playa Benidorm".

Great location at the beach with ok rooms. Gym almost non existent though, the service so so and the breakfast 3/5. Key card stopped working every day so had to get it fixed over and over. Very thin walls, heard the neighbors talk all the time even though they were speaking at a normal volume. Decent stay not more.

Con cosas que se pueden mejorar como la habitación, es un poco pequeña y el cuarto de baño igual. El mobiliario es un poco antiguo y deja de desear. El parkin de tierra no está en muy buenas condiciones. Favorable con habitaciónes limpias. Y el personal muy amable.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and breakfast was superb. Someone complaining about no smoking, well most people would agree with this. There are designated areas for smokers and why not? I for one don’t want to be surrounded by people smoking.

The hotel was in a beautiful location with all rooms having a sea view. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast but the one evening meal we had was quite poor with little choice. Two problems we found, there is nowhere to get a drink of water around the hotel without buying it and there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Evening entertainment was a bit non-descript. On the whole it’s a very nice hotel and I would stay there again.

6 mature retired males travelled together to the Poseidon Playa Hotel. Upon checking in, the reception staff retained our passports which was fine but we later found out they would not be returned until security checked our three rooms to ensure we hadn't caused any damage! Similarly, when we checked out we had to wait at reception at 7am in the morning until a security man checked each of the 3 twin rooms before passports were returned. We weren't there for a stag night just three days in the sun. It just goes to show what the hotel has had to put up with in the past. The hotel was lovely with fantastic views over the pool area and the beautiful sandy beach which was simply across the road. All rooms face the sea. We chose bed and breakfast only as we wanted to explore the old town restaurants. The food we had was varied and plenty some. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned although ours was on full most of the time. The balcony was a decent size and great to sit and take in the views. Most of the people staying here seemed to be Spanish which must be a good sign. Its quite a long walk into the old town and we walked our legs of with about 21k steps each day. I would certainly stay there again and at this time of year (early June).
