Dreadful customer service! Now,dont get me wrong, alot of this is MY fault!. Basically i booked a room here for what i thought was the 17th sept to 22nd sept. But.....as i was looking at holidays for next year elsewhere, the calendar was 2025 on my screen!doh! So...long story short! Arrived at hotel, monday 17th, they couldnt find my booking (obviously) and continued to book me in under a different Dave! Even though i told them its wrong AND i was solo not a couple! Got to room, sticky floor,small! Unpacked and got to bed (3am) After 5 mins there was a knock at door asking me to leave room as other Dave has shown up with his wife! So.... turned out id booked for 2025!🤦♂️ Had to leave and walk benni street at 4am with my case, reception did try and find me flat to be fair which was decent. So ive messaged them 3 times now to ask if i can have a refund,but as it was non refundable obviously as i was attending,they have said NO! I think 12 months notice is fair don't you? This place is always full!! Honest mistake which has cost me money, Lesson learned! But won't refund??? Bit harsh i reckon.
