Taj Bentota was excellent hotel to stay, the food and the all the staff were very professionals and very friendly during over stay but special thank you to Rukmal and Sam. They made our stay very enjoyable even though it was the monsoon season Certainly will visit again in monsoon rains which makes the air fresh and cool.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at this well run property. The food, the service and staff were exceptional. This property is designed to give you a great experience. So much so that we just wanted to stay in the property and not go out A big thank you to each member of the staff here who were gracious and helpful . A living example of " Service with a smile"

Beautiful location.The beach is gorgeous.The pool area is also very nice. Breakfast was average . we were expecting a better spread at Taj. they are upgrading the rooms. They gave us a new room and it was comfortable and nice. New rooms are spacious .they have a private beach.

Lunch at the Taj was wonderful. The staff is amazing, especially Sam who went out of his way to help us make the right choices. The Sri Lankan dishes tasted great. Chef Buddhika was kind enough to explain the selections as well. Asitha also stayed around to ensure we had everything we needed.

Had a comfortable stay.The service was great.Especially the check in was very welcoming and the check out was very efficient.The food was great especially at the Shak.The staff were very helpful and polite.The rooms especially the bathrooms could do with some improvements.Overall had a pleasant stay and would love to come back.

I recently stayed at the Taj Bentota in Sri Lanka. The resort is beautifully located on the seashore with access to beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. I guess i was given a recently renovated rooms and they were great. Had some challenges with the air conditioners. Food is great, they have The Palms (Multicuisine) good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tease Bar, Oriental Cuisine and the Shack are other restaurants on property. Pool was maintained really well, very clean. Great staff overall. SPA experience was very blissful and rejuvenating. Had a great time. Value for money. One downside is the Wifi in the room is very poor.
