Not a bad option to stay in Bentota for a few days. The room has air conditioning and WI-FI, the price includes breakfast. Naturally, this is an ordinary local guest house and you shouldn’t expect a high level, there are hotels for that. Water in the shower, solar heated, invigorates in the morning, boiling water in the afternoon. It's about seven minutes to the sea, ten minutes to the restaurants. On the second floor there is a veranda where you can chill in the shade during the hottest time of the day

Overall, I had a great experience, staff was incredibly helpful, and the FOOD of the was AMAZING had a wonderful stay ＜3 The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre.

We made a hotel reservation to stay over the 1st of October and made payments through a credit card. When We contacted the property to inform the arrival time, they said there are no such reservations and they asked for USD 25 if we would take the same room as a fresh booking. Furthermore, the property owner got quite rude and loud over the phone and insisted that they are looking for foreign travellers only. I had reserved this place through one of the most reputed travel websites even though I had so many cheaper options! We had already been traveling and this was an extension of a stay and we had to make alternate arrangements! Very unhappy. how the owner behaved was demeaning.
