Bergen Op Zoom Hotels with Wi-Fi

the rooms had recently been renovated. very nice, especialy the italian walk-in shower. the tiles were very classy and the floor was beautiful and it wasn't slippery at all, which we appreciated. the renovation and airco working wasn't finished, although it was indicated that the inconvenience would have been gone before our stay. and so we had no airconditioning and there was some noise. it was unpleasant, but we survived.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. My room was a deluxe one and tucked away at the back of the hotel which meant I could barely hear the clock chiming. It was luxuriously decorated with real character and the bed was very comfortable. The building is beautiful and the view as you walk towards the illuminated hotel at night is incredibly attractive. We found the staff very helpful and enjoyed our breakfast and the sweets at reception!

The hotel carries both names because it's located in two buildings. Be aware though, that this is not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues. Neither building seems to have a working lift and there are some extremely steep stairs if you are located in the Tulip Hotel. The rooms are not very big but they do have everything you need (although I couldn't get my heating to work). Breakfast costs extra and is not cheap, but there is an amazing selection of hot and cold foods and the staff will happily bring you any type of coffee you wish. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There is a nice large bar area for relaxing in. I would think this hotel would be great for people on business on a budget. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and Grote Markt as well as about 10 minutes' walk from the train station.

We booked this hotel as it was close to railway station so we booked 2 nights so we could have a day out to Rotterdam. On arrival we where welcomed by a really nice guy who I take to be the hotel owner, he really made us feel welcome the hotel is clean and well furnished, the rooms are small but comfortable could do with a couple of more power outlets. This is not a criticism just a observation. We both really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. Breakfast is a typical Dutch breakfast and was more than sufficient the hotel does not do an evening meal but the place next door does really good food again staffed by friendly Dutch people.
