The house was perfect for our weekend getaway! Me and my sisters like to get away together periodically and this space was perfect. The house is great and the decor is so cute too! We can’t wait to go back. I definitely recommend a soak in one of the tubs. That was amazing! The bedrooms are all good sized and the beds are comfortable too.

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend. The house is amazing - the perfect mix of historic and modern. The hosts were so helpful with gluten free suggestions for me. Hoping to stay there again in the future!

We had a great stay, not much open in town on a Tuesday, but nice to wonder around downtown, grab a coffee and drive over to Cacapon State Park. Very relaxing and quiet, highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Congress House. The house is in a great location, beautifully decorated, has very comfortable beds, a lovely outdoor area and a well-stocked kitchen. Absolutely beautifully decorated house. Everything was curated with intention and care from the rugs/furniture all the way down to the stenciled cabinets. The beds were incredibly comfortable with lush pillows and a ceiling fans for air flow (great for hot sleepers). The backyard was a lovely retreat to sit outside and relax. Spacious bathrooms with fun claw foot tubs. 10/10 would return. An absolute gem of a stay.
