Very pleased with the accommodation modern and well finished. And excellent bedding. Only letdown was the check in process as emails with the instructions were sent to ******* instead of me. This necessitated a call the ******* who were helpful and sorted it out. The staff at the Golf Club where we were to pick up our key were very helpful but some staff at the sister property where they managed the bookings seemed unsure and asked me to call back in half an hour as they were unable to answer my questions about extending our stay this person seemed overwhelmed and was not very engaging. I called back half an hour later as requested and spoke with someone else who explained the situation and answered my questions. Could definitively improve here and need to stop blaming ******* and other staff and just sort it

For a regional stay it was good. Small things could have made it feel more special for the price point. Beds comfortable, space was good but it lacked any personality. Too minimalist? There was lacklustre soaps etc bathroom. I would have expected a complimentary bottle of wine for the type of stay. The aircon was not on for our arrival so 35 degrees. The room was not prepared for a check in, ie The chairs were all over the place. Only 2 coffee pods. It looks good, it was nice and comfortable but for $462 it wasn’t special. I wouldn’t return. Aircon - yes Spacious- yes Bedding - quality and comfortable Location- good Convenient - good

So good we extended!
We loved our stay at Par Five Shacks so much that we extended it for another night.
Comfortable and cute accommodation; which was perfect for a romantic getaway.
The Big River Tavern and Earth Restaurant served delicious food. We would definitely go back!
