Surprisingly, it has a private swimming pool. It is much bigger than the rooms in PIR. I am satisfied!

I really liked the hotel. It is located right in the forest, among the trees. The area is great. Squirrels are jumping on the veranda, waiting for a treat. The staff is very responsive and friendly. There is a swimming pool and a water park for children on site. And the sea is just a fairy tale.

The price/performance ratio is good, and you can see a lot of things snorkeling at the nearby beach.

We stayed 4 nights at Coral View in July. I had read some of the reviews in advance and was a little apprehensive about the cleaning and catering. But it really was no problem at all, it's an absolutely fantastic place. I would recommend a longer stay if possible so there is time for both snorkeling and relaxation. We could have spent a whole week out there. We stayed in the two large Executive Suites with sea view. They have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as a large living room. But the best is the two terraces, so you have a terrace with a view of both beaches. On the largest terrace there are 2 small pools. We thought that was a bit over the top when the beach is 5 meters away, but it very nice to be able to cool down in the pool, as the sea water was very warm. The beach is very close, and just a few meters out it is possible to snorkel and see the most beautiful fish and corals. Do bring water shoes, as there are rocks everywhere. Only very little sand at the other end of the beach. The next beach (which you can see over to) is a sandy beach, this is also where you can see sea turtles. There is a large boat bridge from the beach and at the end of it there are usually turtles. This also means that many tourist boats arrive during the day, so you just have to swim out to them and look in the same place to spot the turtles. It is possible to rent life jackets for 5-10 RM per day in the hotel's small kiosk, this is recommendable as it is quite deep where the turtles are. You can also rent snorkeling equipment, but I don't know how much it costs as we brought our own. Our hotel package included both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I thought I was a buffet all day, but when we arrived I was informed that it was ala carte based on their menu card. We had 37 RM for lunch and 57 RM for dinner we could each buy for. It didn't sound like much at first, but the food is cheap and it is also possible to use the amount for drinks. Our family with 2 adults and two children aged 9 and 13 did not buy for more than what was available and we thought it was a fine concept to be able to choose from everything on the menu instead of a boring buffet. However, we never manage to get dessert as they didn't have any ice cream at the resort when we were there. But plenty of great smoothies and watermelon juice. You have to have plenty of time when you want to eat, as they are very slow to serve. And everybody at the table doesn't get the food at the same time, but apparently that's just the way it is. The breakfast is a buffet, nothing special. The restaurant is open to the sea, and it is possible to sit both outside and inside. Outside, there are lots of squirrels darting around in the trees. We also saw a long snake and a huge monitor lizard - it also swam around in the water, so you just have to get used to that. Our package also included a snorkel trip. We were a family of 10 so we had a boat to ourselves. We were in 4 different places and it's really wonder

Booked the premium sea view suite at Coral View Resort for our family holiday and had one of the most enjoyable and memorable stays there. We are a family of 3 adults and 3 children, and therefore, safety and comfort are of top priority. The walk from jetty is quite a distance away, and if you're carrying heavy luggage, this will be a big challenge as there was no paved walkway or dedicated path other than on sandy beach itself. Luckily, we decided to leave the luggage and travelled using backpacks. Resort staff were friendly and helpful, once we gotnour keys, the staffs actually carried all our backpacks to the room. The room was excellent and comfortable for us, especially our kids who loved the indoor pool and wooden swing. The only grouses we had were that the light switches were plentiful and would be good if theres labels. Food during dinner was superb as we had fresh seafood. Breakfast was disappointing, though, and we ended up going to the nearby resort, The Barat and Mama Chalet, for food. Shops were plenty, and you could stock up on your mineral water and snacks to curb the hunger pangs. Overall, it is a great place to stay with family with fairly good facilities such as a nearby water theme park, a definite must for kids! Will consider coming again!

Relax on a quiet island where you can only reach it with a small boat. Swimming/snorkeling as if you were swimming in an aquarium. Great Staff is friendly. The houses are a bit outdated but kept clean. The only disadvantage is that there are few sun beds and no parasols

The restaurant can definitely be improved, both in terms of quality and organisation. Old but clean rooms considering that this is a structure between the beach and the forest and that, as with the rest of the island, the term resort should not be misleading. Our room was one of the higher ones, with a nice view of the sea. Wi fi available in common areas. The staff is very kind.

The rooms are in poor condition and the beds are too firm. The shower room is minimalist, as is the trickle of running water. The shower tiles are cracked The breakfast is poor Otherwise the staff is pleasant and the beach is magnificent Hotel which deserves a good refreshment

We first slept two nights in a room with a swimming pool but inside the resort, there was a smell of feet and huge cockroaches! The nice thing is that monkeys and squirrels come to visit us often. Then we asked if we could move to one of those with a sea view, the room was much smaller there but the outside part beats everything. Still with private pool but with its own patio and deckchairs. In this last room we didn't see any cockroaches and we slept really well. I honestly didn't like the restaurant, they make a big ****** between the tables they don't come to take orders and the food is sad compared to other places!

Very dirty room. A cockroach in the kettle, stains in the pillow, mold everywhere and wallpaper peeling off on all sides. The restaurant is also not nice, not warm, soggy and very slow. The pool is cloudy with lots of dirty hairballs. Disgusting. The only bright spot was the children's pool which was entertaining. Also dirty beach beds that you are usually not allowed to lie on because they belong to other rooms. In short, definitely not recommended.
