Aberconwy House B&B

On arrival, the greeting from Pippa, Martin and Marian feels like you have been coming for years, after showing you to your room, for us was room 2 which has a fantastic view of the Snowdonia national park, the room has a queen size bed large shower room with a fantastic shower, everything you could ever need is in the room. Iron and board, kettle and well stocked draw of tea , coffee or chocolate, even a battery lamp for if you go out at night, you have a free parking space, and to set you up for each day a fantastic breakfast is included with a massive choice of vegan vegetarian as well as excellent quality meats from locally sourced produce. I will and have indeed booked again for 2025

Oh my where to start.. the room (3) was lovely to stay in, felt right at home from the moment we've arrived. Modern but homely, comfortable to have as a base to return to after all the adventuring that can be done around the area. Martin, Pippa and Marian were so accommodating and very knowledgable about all the different things that you can do around the village. Very down to earth, friendly, great senses of humour which both me and my partner really appreciated as it made the stay feel wholesome and memorable, and we'd love to visit again in the future! They work hard to make sure that you have the best and smoothest experience possible. D+T

What a lovely little place this B&B is and run by as equally lovely people. We stayed in room 6, it was beautiful; lovely and clean and had everything we needed in it (including the complimentary chocs & biscuits!) The view out of the large window is stunning. There just aren’t enough superlatives to describe the view and we never tired of it. Breakfast was tasty and served by the very attentive owners who were happy to engage in conversation and offer their advice and knowledge on the local area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Stayed here for 3 nights and it could not have been better. Lovely room and house, comfy bed, freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice, and above all such friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely views across the valley from the room. Superb.

This is my third review for Aberconwy house and it won’t be the last.!! Firstly, Marian,Martin and Pippa are the ultimate hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a fountain of knowledge. The morning chats at breakfast are brilliant and always a laugh. Think I’ve said it before, but we go all around the country and never stay in the same place twice. Apart from here. The rooms are spotless with spectacular views and the breakfast menu has a great selection. The cooked breakfast is always done to perfection and the locally sourced produce tastes fantastic. We honestly can’t recommend this place any better. Can’t wait for the website to show next years dates so we can go back. Thanks again to our amazing hosts, see you soon. xx

Great location with amazing hosts full of lots of local knowledge & recommendations. Rooms really modern and clean with great views. Lots of choice for breakfast and all were brilliant. Would recommend & if in the area again would definitely stay again.

This is our second visit to Aberconwy House. We really are in love with the place. Marian, Pippa and Martin make our stays special. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with absolutely everything you need. Breakfast is fabulous! We will definitely be back again! We recommend this place to everyone we know. What a fantastic B&B, run by such a warm and friendly couple who couldn't do enough for you. Plenty of parking. Lovely decking area at the front with a stunning view. We stayed in room 8 which was a very modern, clean and spacious family room. The breakfasts were delicious - I highly recommend the eggs benedict. We would love to go back and stay again in the near future...

This was a stay we will never forget. My wife & I have stayed in many different B&Bs over the years & this was one of the best (if not the best) in which we have had the pleasure of staying! From the moment we called Martin to enquire whether it would be possible for us to check in a little earlier than normal - to our departure five nights later - Martin, Pippa & Marian could not have made us feel more "at home" or done anything more to ensure that we enjoyed our stay! We now look forward to returning for a second visit in the not too distant future! Cleanliness is so very important in any B&B - in this Aberconwy House was most certainly up to standard! Whether in the Main House or most importantly in our private Accommodation, it was spotless. Room 8 was great, very spacious, with a lounge area & large TV - not to mention the huge en-suite bathroom with a superb walk-in shower (a real winner for us older folk)! There is also a lovely little private patio area on which to relax & enjoy the summer evenings ................. The Breakfast Menu, which was more than adequate, was freshly prepared, using quality local ingredients, & served with real attention & genuine good morning smiles! Not only from personal conversations, but also from those our hosts held with other guests, it was very obvious that Martin, Pippa & Marian were very knowledgeable & willing to share their knowledge of the area & always had very good advice about things to see & do - whether driving, walking or cycling! Aberconwy House is exactly what it advertises itself to be - an excellent B&B; superbly managed & run by Marian, Pippa & Martin - we can only wish them every success into the future!
