2 times in staying there they wanted to refuse to give me my security deposit back. The only reason I got it back the first time was there was a lady that worked there who understood that they just didnt treat people right. I dont fully remember the first time but they wanted to say because I had the pet deposit that I should not get any of my regular deposit or the pet deposit back. The 2nd time that lady no longer worked there. So this is what happened my last stay. First of all they were going to charge a 100.00 deposit which was only 75 the last time I was there-I said look I dont have that but let me go and door dash a few hrs and Ill come back. Well they let me go with the 75. Ok cool In general I dont always want cleaning or service to my room, so maybe every few days Ill put the trash outside the door or ask for new towels. Oh they made sure I gave them every last towel in my room dirty or not. So if I had one dirty towel and one clean towel and I wanted 2 more towels- Id have to give them the 2 i had. Ok I get it maybe people take towels so at this point im annoyed but like ok whatever. So forward to night before checkout. I call front desk and ask for 12 pm checkout. Guy said sure no problem. (Didnt make a note of any sort.) Next morning Im taking a shower and the owner of property comes banging {not knocking} on my door like the police and im some criminal. I get out of the shower soaking wet and go to the door and say I asked for a late checkout. He yells through the door NO!!! you didnt.I just asked the girl at the front and she said you didnt. I respond no I asked the guy last night and ok'd it. He says oh well what time you be out? 12 I say. Ok you get out at 12. yes So then when I go to the front to check out- you have to wait for them to check your room to make sure you havent destroyed it if you want any hope of getting your money back. Since I didnt have much in way of service I had maybe 4 or 5 plastic grocery size shopping bags with garbage tied and neatly put around the garbage cans. It was not all over the floor or counters or anything. So this kid who is in his early 20s and same one who ok'd late check out comes in the lobby yelling at me ” do you know how dirty you left that room? Im like theres garbage in bags next to garbage but no its not dirty. He was like well Youre not getting your deposit back. So I lost 75 dollars because the prick thinks that picking up few bags that are not very big to put in the garbage was worth giving the customer grief and keeping my deposit. I needed that money for the rest of my travel plans. no difference. That was the WORST experience I've EVER had anywhere These people owning this property treated me like I was a criminal. Wouldnt make a person want to stay at other wyndham properties with that kind of experience

Modern, chic, well kept hotel in downtown Macon. Spent time with friends here and was very impressed. Restaurant on site, but we made our way up to the rooftop bar. Enjoyed great drinks, food, and a nice view of the city. Our bartender was engaging and gave great service. This spot is perfect if you’re in town for an event at the auditorium, or looking for a classy spot while in town for business. The valet service was exceptional. Definitely ask for the tall young lady with the neck tattoo. She greeted and assisted us soon as we pulled up and was attentive, professional, and so welcoming and friendly. Overall great hotel and experience.

Service was pretty slow when we got there Thursday night. It wasn’t our waitress fault. Not very organized and kitchen seemed slow.
The next morning we had to pay for breakfast. $15.99 for breakfast that is usually included in your stay.
We only booked for one night because we had a grandson in a wrestling tournament and didn’t know if we would need two nights. I wish I had booked the second night with trip. Com and I didn’t because we were right there at the convention center and I walked back over and ask to get our same room for one more night. We got it for almost double the price of the first night and still had to pay for breakfast.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the room felt fresh. The shower pressure was excellent, ensuring a refreshing experience. I found the accommodations comfortable, and I could have easily extended my stay. However, a minor downside was the sensation of a syrupy film on the carpet, so wearing slippers or socks is advisable.

We've stayed at this Courtyard multiple times. It's in a great location for one night stopovers, and right off the exit. The area is safe, and there are plenty of food options nearby as long as you don't mind dining at chain restaurants. Service overall is efficient and friendly. The bed is comfortable with clean linens and plenty of grassy areas for walking your pooch. The only downside of staying here is maintenance and cleanliness. The hotel itself is pretty beat up. We request the same room, our last two visits were only one week apart, so we know these are long term issues, not one off. The furniture in our room marred, with chunks out of the wood. The door lock doesn't work properly both times. We finally learned the secret jiggle, push , push, handle turn, then pull back, before pushing open the door combination. We reported this on our visit, and a week later, and probably several housekeepers later, it was still not working. Given the condition of the room, cleanliness is even more important. Here the hotel also stumbles even though charging extra fees for deep cleaning after a pet stays in the room. We found dust buildup and human hair in the tub and sink. The vents caked with dust as well. On the website the dog fee is 65 dollars however they actually charge 125. Needless to say a lot improvements and a deep cleaning needed. no one is wearing a mask or social distancing enforce.

The breakfast is good, especially many families bring their children to eat. The disadvantage is that don't choose the side facing the highway, the windows are not soundproof, it's too noisy. It's too noisy for children running around in the corridor. Suggestion: If you are asked what preference you have when checking in, you must ask for a quieter room.

The staff of this hotel are professional and very pleasant to deal with. The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel leaves much to be desired. We arrive at approximately 6:30 pm and were assigned a room on the 4th floor. Upon entering the room we found that it had not been cleaned after the previous occupants. The beds were unmade and there was trash on the floor and in the bath. We carried our luggage back to the front desk and were assigned room 121. This worked out fine until approximately 11:40 pm when the air conditioning unit turned on and made a clacking sound. We were then assigned a room on the second floor and remained the rest of the night. However, I don’t believe the air conditioning was working great there as it was very humid. We returned to room 121 to bathe and retrieve our luggage. The circuit breaker popped when my wife used the hair dryer. The maintenance man said that happens sometimes. Breakfast and staff were great. Will definitely choose another Hilton property on our next visit to Macon.
GGuest UserRoom was relatively clean, bed was fine, staff was friendly, breakfast can be improved a little, when the AC was off we could hear the highway noise, we would stay here in future again.
Big room with the sitting area arranged between the beds and the tv instead of the elongated arrangement in lots of other suites. I was pretty impressed with the complimentary breakfast. Real bacon and lots of it was the star of the show. I’d stay here again, especially since it was so close to the interstate exit.
GGuest UserFirst Impressions...not so great. I reserved 2 rooms; one for my 88 year old mother. They put us on opposite ends of 2 different floors. I asked if we could have our rooms closer as I am my mother's caregiver. The lady at the front desk said the hotel was full and she was unable to change our room assignments. However it was 5pm with only a few cars in the parking lot. Surely the hotel was not yet full and one would think rooms could be switched around. The woman at the front desk was not helpful nor was she friendly. Secondly, handicap parking is at the end of the building on the side, much further away than the ”Diamond Elite” spaces directly in front of the hotel. We did not use the handicap space since there were others close by. Thirdly, the rooms are dark and dingy upon entering with a musty smell. Appears clean however. Honestly, I would have asked for my money back but we have been traveling for almost 12 hours and none of the hotel reviews off 475 in Macon were exceptional. It appears safe here and my mom does have a cell phone to contact me if she needs anything, but we will not be back here for sure. I do expect greater things from IHE and am extremely disappointed.
KKathy LClean, fairly upscale linens for a stop over hotel off the highway. Comfortable beds. Easy to bring our pets to for a night. The staff is kind and very helpful. We lost some jewelry and realized it on the road the next morning...turned around to drive back and thankfully housekeeping had found it, kept it safe and I had my rings back! Super nice, honest people!
I didn’t actually stay but my daughter and cousin did. I called ahead of time because they didn’t have good service. They are two young ladies, each with a dog. They live in Valdosta and the power was out due to the tropical storm with intermittent cell service. Their home was so hot the dogs were continuously panting. I can’t say enough about this specific location. When I called Ricardo was so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure they could accommodate my family. They made an exception so the girls could stay together to save them money. When my daughter found out their electricity was back on the following morning they allowed them to cancel the extra day they booked. I am so thankful for this hotel and this experience alone has made me a forever customer of Red Roof Inn. Thank you Ricardo for making a difficult time better! My daughter plans to complete a review as well. She said the accommodations were really nice and she was impressed with the room and the service!
AAndriy LishchynskyyBooke it for my son. He said the hotel was nice and clean, friendly staff, fast checknin.
The very important feature is that they allow 18 year olders to check in
GGuest UserThe overall appearance of this property gave us the impression that it was going to be a nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Bedding was clean and in good condition, mattress very supportive, not worn out. The staff was very professional and friendly, a warm personality. We were very pleased with the overall experience and do plan to stay again during our next trip.
VvernandoOn the outside I was a little deterred but inside is a total difference extremely clean put together nice and comfortable and elegant to taste on the inside for your single nighters
