WorldMark Big Bear Lake

The resort is clean and well maintained. It is a great family friendly place. We had stayed at this resort 20 years ago, so I was quite surprised by the lack of air conditioning. Also, our room was smaller than I remember the rooms we stayed in so long ago. Big bear is cool probably 9 months out of the year, but if you go in the summer, it can be quite hot. One of the 3 days we were there, it was 69 degrees in Big Bear, but it was 77 degrees in our room. Fans don't cut it. I wanted to stay another day in Big Bear, but with the weather heating up outside, I could not have tolerated the heat in the room. I'd recommend WorldMark Big Bear for visiting in the early fall or late spring when it is cooler rather than sweating it out in the summer months inside your room. Also, even though the nights cooled way down outside, as soon as the windows were closed, it was hot again inside the room.

So nice. The room was huge and comfortable. So much to do. I wish we stayed longer!

First time staying at Watermark, but we will definitely be back!

Condo was clean, well equipped. Property facilities were more than expected. We were there at a less busy time and was exceptionally quiet. Property is away from "downtown" area but was walkable to grocery shopping and basic needs.

Amazing Place to Stay

Wonderful family friendly hotel. Had lots of activities to keep the kids entertained along with a Scavature hunt for the whole family do to. (Which was alot of fun!) Friendly staff made our enjoyable experience memorable.

We were notified 1 hour before traveling to the hotel that our reservation was going to be canceled and we had to call a number to figure out an alternative. This weekend was supposed to be a get away for my sons 4th birthday. I booked the rooms already 2 months beforehand. Anyway, we stopped packing and got calling the number the hotel provided. The number then told us to contact *******, who said they had no proof of cancelation and that they need proof to be able to cancel on their end. They suggested calling hotel... so we called hotel, we couldn't get through.. for 2 hours. Then when we finally got through they told us to call the number they sent in their original email... what?! So frustrated, we had to cancel everything and stay home due to uncertainty of somewhere to stay. About 630pm, 7 hours after original calls, I decided to try again because i wanted my money back. Finally got through to ******* and this time a nice guy got in contact with hotel himself and confirmed they hotel canceled. He was trying to offer me alternative hotel accommodation... at 7pm?! What an absolute joke. I demanded refund at this point. There was no way i was driving to big bear at 7pm at night (4 hours away from our house). They FINALLY agreed to give us a refund. Terrible experience- DO NOT BOOK, NO GUARANTEE OF ACCOMMODATION

Excellent location,very clean and worth it to stay there, highly recommended,most of entertainment there,excellent service,you can walk to the shopping center and to the lake,cool water and nice temperature,we run from the desert (hot weather) to spend the time there
