Lone Mountain Ranch

Our family had never visited Montana (and I will admit that we had watched too much Yellowstone which was our motivating factor for visiting Montana) and we conducted significant research before we selected Lone Mountain Ranch. I highly recommend that you consider Lone Mountain Ranch for your stay. We had a party of seven and we stayed at the B-K cabin. Before arrival, we were concerned that the pictures were not align to the "aesthetics" of the cabin. Thankfully, we were wrong and the cabin was AMAZING. It was spacious to accommodate all of us including bathrooms and we enjoyed several nights of games during our visit. Additionally, we loved using the fireplace, we CONSTANTLY had a fire blazing, and we appreciate concierge taking our requests for more wood and getting us tools. If you love food like our family does and love new food adventures, your family will love the saloon/restaurant too. In particular, we loved the morning staff (who was the same staff every morning) because the staff was very personable and welcoming (thank you). Again, the food was amazing (breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they will accommodate all food allergies and accommodate all of your needs) and we experienced all the specials (Lone Mountain Ranch, thank you for your creative and talented culinary staff). Also, the sleigh ride dinner was an amazing experience which I will not spoil for anyone but I doubt that this curated experience can be duplicated in my opinion. Lastly, I recommend that you experience all that the ranch has to offer - nordic skiing guided tour and snow shoe guided tour on the ranch. Concierge also assisted with other activities and I am appreciative of their services. My main goal was to relax and not stress about anything for a week and the Lone Mountain Ranch concierge exceeded my expectations and it was nice to enjoy a vacation where customer service was the number priority (instead of just talk). I have a bucket list of other vacations to take but I may consider another trip to Lone Mountain Ranch.

Fabulous log cabins A unique accommodation in a log cabin on a huge ranch perfect for outdoorsy people: 50 miles of Nordic trails, delicious breakfast, wood stove, welcoming basket, super friendly staff

If you want to get in some good horse-back riding in a pretty cushy place, this is where to go...excellent fly-fishing nearby, excellent food (huge portions and they know their beef!). Accommodations were excellent and cozy...could use a couple of dressers instead of armoires in the cabin we had (Coyote) and more clothes/towel hooks in bathrooms. Service was outstanding!
