Hotels near Fever, Bilbao

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the at Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia - Great welcome, Our ‘Privilege’ Room on the 7th floor was lovely very spacious with a very comfortable King size bed, large closet with hanging and shelf space and a large safe. There was a minibar with complimentary water 2 still and 1 sparkling, 2 beers and 2 Coca Cola which was replenished every day. There is a coffee machine. Good controllable air conditioning. The Bathroom had a large walk-in shower. There is a nightclub nearby so there is some noise at night so if you are a light sleeper you should ask for a quiet room. Perfect location - The hotel is 15 min stroll to the Guggenheim museum and its about 10 minute walk from the centres of both the old and new towns, there is a Corte Ingles about 10 mins walk away on the main street and the hotel is just a couple of minutes from the river. The Lobby bar is great and the staff are pleasant and helpful and prices are very reasonable – it was lovely sitting outside having a glass of wine. It is very easy to get to from the airport A3247 bus stop, Journey from the airport is about 20 minutes. Great staff All the staff we met were helpful. Reception is on the 3rd Floor. Breakfast is on the 4th floor with good coffee machines and a great fresh orange juice machine. Thank you to all the restaurant and bar staff especially the manager and also Pedro. The housekeeping was efficient, and everything was spotless. There are so many amazing restaurants and bars in Bilbao serving great food – We were lucky enough to be in Bilbao for the start of the festival and we really enjoyed the amazing firework display on Saturday night. We are already looking forward to returning to Bilbao and the Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia.

Location is about 15 to 20 minutes from the center. I was a little worried about security as it was far from the center, but there was nothing in particular. It may be better not to be too late for a woman alone. The room was large and clean and easy to spend. Towels, hair dryers and hair body wash are provided. Since it is not separated as a shower room, I am prepared to be bishabisha in that area. There is a TV, but there is no refrigerator. The bed was too soft and not too hard and I was easy to sleep ◎ The response of the front desk was also good!

The room is relatively compact. The location is very good, just by the river, within walking distance from the main attractions in the city. There are no vegetables for breakfast, mainly custard and cereal. No ironing board, laundry room, no unsolicited provision of disposables. The gym is in the basement, very small with no windows. The elevator has ladder control, but it is not very sensitive.

We arrived via the airport bus and found the accommodation easily thanks to reading the reviews beforehand. It is a doorway with a many signs including one for Bilbao city rooms. The rooms are on floors 4 and 5 with Reception on the 4th. Check in was fast and simple with a warm welcome from the lady at reception. The whole two floors have well lit clean corridors and the lift is great. The room was a very clean well presented modern double with a large shower room and plenty of storage. The window s can be opened and I like other reviews mentioning the heat and the ceiling fan... we can say it’s chilly at night but the heating does come on at ten! The location of these room is very central and excellent l. Great transport links if needed but we walked all around the old and new parts of the city with the Guggenheim, bars and restaurants all on our doorstep. Shopping in Bilbao is fantastic and dint be afraid to visit the 2nd hand stores .. some amazing finds!!!

Interesting experience. Location great for bus station and tram so easy access anywhere. Spotlessly clean, friendly reception. Weirdest shaped room I've ever been in! Bed good. Shower good. All a bit tight for space but for what I paid it's great value for a solo traveller. Major drawback is the buzzing fusebox in the room which is only solved by removing the room card which knocks the room power off. Not a problem when sleeping but keep your phone handy to use as a torch if you need to go to the toilet and so need to slot the key card back in place for room lighting. If you get a great rate I'd choose here all day but if not perhaps I'd look elsewhere to see what's on offer. Bars/restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.

Nice hotel, near airport with shuttle bus every 20 mins. Nice rooms and bathrooms with normal IHG comfy bed. Ac in room wd good. The restaurant was very nice considering there are none in Uk express hotels. The Wi-Fi worked well so a hotel to use again.

Hotel in good location; restaurants and small market close walking distance - cost about 40eu for taxi to airport. Hotel staff all were friendly and helpful. Room was very warm when checked in, but cooled down for good sleeping at night.

Hemos estado este fin de semana alojados en un apartamento con 2 niñas y un bebé y nos hemos encontrado muy cómodos. Apartamento amplio, con cocina equipada para poder hacer comidas sencillas, mesa de comedor donde entraban hasta 6 personas, baño grande; en el salón había literas y sofá cama, pero está genial que el sofá no lo abran como cama porque así se puede usar para ver la tele (por cierto bastante grande). Además nos pusieron supletoria por si las niñas tenían miedo a dormir en la cama de arriba, una cuna que tenía hasta la mantita, toallas para todos, incluido el bebé (que en muchos sitios no lo ponen). Recepción y resto de personal del hotel, todo amabilidad. Además cuenta con acceso al bar restaurante, con una oferta variada para desayunar, estaba bien y a un precio correcto. El restaurante no lo probamos. Está a 10 minutos de la playa, aparcamos gratis en un sitio cercano que ellos nos indicaros, el metro a 5 minutos andando y las vistas son muy bonitas. Ya habíamos estado hace años, pero seguro que volvemos en otra ocasión .
