Great location and convenient that it’s across the street from the River Shop Place. Clean rooms and lobby and friendly staff. However, our only complaint was the noise and all the commotion. You can hear your neighbors open and close their doors and it was very bothersome and the loud sounds were startling. I would recommend the hotel using soft closing door hinges! We also had a very loud family with kids above our room and for hours kids were jumping off beds and stomping on the floors. Complaining didn’t help either. All of this kept us up in the night.

We just spend two days in Frankenmuth, Michigan at the Bavarian Lodge. It was so much fun and so relaxing. The hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are very comfortable. There are so many things to do at the Lodge including shops, restaurants and water park and games for the children. We highly recommend and we are looking forward to coming back again.

I won't stay here again. The couch is ridiculous as to sit in it your feet are hanging off the end a foot from the floor. Very uncomfortable. The chair at the desk is uncomfortable too. You're positioned where you're leaning forward all the time. Those were minor annoyances compared to being teased with a fantastic choice of streaming movie stations and then find out the movies you want to watch are $20 dollars. On top of that their internet connection is terrible and after 15 minutes the movie your streaming cuts off and you get a message to try again later. Seemed everything I tried to do online was a hit and miss effort. Constantly cutting in and out. I'd rather have no internet than service like that.

Only stayed one night, but it was a great experience. The rooms are pretty standard, but clean and comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart is the ALL of the staff encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was so refreshing. We had river view rooms and it was nice to be able to open the door in the room to the balcony for fresh air (well aside from the horses downtown) and more light. Pros: Clean Evening reception Breakfast include - a lot of hot/cold choices, including organic options. Small balconies in rooms with chairs. Walk to downtown (parking onsite) Staff Porch in the back, plenty of seating to relax. Cons I did not love the pillows

First time to stay at this hotel for my delivery run to Michigan, hotel room is super nice and bedding is very comfortable. Location is right off freeway and two chain restaurant diners are walking distance so can't complain about location, only drawback is the wifi was down and they don't include breakfast.

Good: Friendly welcoming staff. Very clean room. Cozy. Good hot shower. Location within numerous good restaurants.
Breakfast + : nice waffles, yogurt, bananas, muffins, orange juice.
Not good: swimming pool was not operational, very sad! (and it was not mentioned on booking platforms).
Breakfast - : cold eggs, terrible sausage, no vegetables, other kinds of juice than orange.
If the swimming pool worked and breakfast didn't have those negative things I mentioned, the place would've been perfect.

My husband and I take an annual trip.to Frankenmuth, Mich around Christmas time each year. We usually spend a fortune to stay in the town of Frankenmuth. We decided to stay outside of Frankenmuth and found the Springhill Suites in Saginaw, MI, about 20 min. from our destination.
We were so pleasantly surprised by tbe accommodations. The suite was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly - even after locking ourselves out of our room twice. They were attentive and even offered restraunt suggestions. Tbe breakfast offered a great selection - sausage, rggs, waffles, juice, cereal, pastries etc. In addition, the hotel overall abd lobby was clean and very pretty.
The only issue, which is minimal, was the pool size. It was a bit small. However, the hot tub was large and very relaxing.
The price we paid for a 2 night stay in a beautiful suite at the Springhill Suites in Saginaw would not have covered one night in a standard hotel room in the town of Frankenmuth.
I will look for this particular hotel during our future travels. They did everything right.

RRick SA solitary hotel on a stark lot by itself surrounded by other cookie cutter hotels The Holiday Inn Burch Run, Michigan was a part way stop on our drive to upper Michigan as it’s described there. Neither expensive or fancy, likely exactly what you’d expect from a hotel room costing around $150. Similar to hundreds of like establishments across America neither in a tourist area nor a major metropolitan center, I apologize to Burch run residents when I say this hotel could be described as in the middle of no-where. Save for the fact that it lies just off of the major north/south corridor of route 75 some 20 miles north of Flint Michigan makes it a convenient stop for people traveling that route. The area I would describe as a tourist stopover is complete with a number of chain restaurants, numerous gas stations, a dying factory outlet Mall, a couple of car dealers and little else to distract your good night’s sleep. And, that’s exactly what the Holiday Inn offers. With a little less than a hundred rooms on two floors, that are above all else clean and comfortably updated, a pool and decent free breakfast make this place a bargain for the price, check out the automatic pancake maker. Pleasant staff were available around the clock. Ground floor rooms have parking right outside your window. I couldn’t have asked for more from a place that was a mere stop-over. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I’m in the area.

Been staying at this hotel for all my stays in Birch Run for many years. Always feel comfortable here and the staff is ready to handle any request. They have a bar for an evening drink, restaurant & hot breakfast in the morning. I don’t see any reason to stay anywhere else…

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We came with a tour group and the manager and desk help were so rude to our tour guide and to many guest requests. We were given three different rooms before we finally got one that wasn’t already occupied. Room was disgusting. Dirty bathroom with mold around shower nozzles. Curtains hanging off rods, filthy carpets, no phone, no clock, beds all wrinkled and look slept in. Was horrible and hotel should be closed until they get some classes in hotel hospitality and management not to speak of cleanliness issues. Also had no wash cloths and dryer not working in bathrooms but told they don’t have any.
