Travelodge Birmingham Central Moor Street

Best one so far so good.city views outside the window.

Clean room and excellent shower. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Walking distance to 2 rail stations and the coach station even with luggage.

Location was superb very close to Bullring/city centre/Chinatown/New Street train station. However, the hotel itself is very simple and basic. Amenities were quite old (carpet, shower).  They did not allow early check it which is fine but I could not leave my luggage at the reception prior to check in which was very unhelpful.

We enjoyed the amenities as they were very close to the hotel,great staff and no issues checking in and out.would highly recommend this hotel.

Room was too small and had no air conditioning during the terrible heatwave. Did not look clean as well. A small table fan was provided which had not been cleaned and had collected so much dust. Shocking. Bathroom fittings were also dated. For almost the same price we booked a much, much better room at a different hotel. Would not recommend any stay here, even during a crisis.

So many homeless people outside of the hotel so if you’re traveling alone as a woman, don’t recommend you to live here. And when I booked this room, the page said it has air conditioner but when I arrived, there’s only a small fan in this room! That’s awful I have to say, the room is so hot and the window can only be opened a small gap, which will cause the smell of **** fills your room. The cleanness and amenities are ok. If you live here just to catch a train in the morning, it’s a better place than sleeping in the railway station. At least it’s cheap.

Stayed here for one day because I had to take exam the next day. Check-in was smooth and fast, and the location is great. Amenities are not fancy, however it is excellent for a short-term stay. Would recommend

Smelly room. Shower did not get hot at all. Body wash dispenser broken. Telly did not work

Clean, relatively quiet, WiFi. A little hot even with window open
