Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre (New St Station)

The hotel's location is good, but the rooms are quite basic.

I thought the staff could be more visible. There were more than two of us confused as to if there was anyone at reception.

The housekeeping service of the guest room is on request. Unlike standard hotel where the housekeeping is done daily as a standard without being requested. Because of this, the body shampoo emptied out and i have to ask someone to call the front desk to refill the solution. When they came  , i have to get out of the shower halfway to let the staff in the refill. This is so in convenience and bad experience.

The staff were really friendly and showed a lot of care with the children. The room was lovely too, clean and super comfortable. The soundproofing was amazing - we couldn't hear any sound from outside despite being in the middle of the town centre during a weekend night life.

This is a centrally located hotel but with minimum facilities and room size. Staff were poor with hospitality it’s all computers and machines streets surrounding feel unsafe with plenty of people asking for money or cigarettes litter everywhere breakfast room /bar needs a good cleaning

Great location. Reasonable price. Got an Air conditioner. Light is not working.

Overall, it was pretty good and conveniently located for where I needed to go.

Convenient to go through grand central to reach the hotel from new st station, there's also food nearby in the mall or surrounding areas
