We have been here before and have again been delighted with the spacious, clean and very comfortable room, very well lit after a tiring journey. We are usually on a stopover between the south and the Lake District or Scotland, so useful for that. We always regret not making this a destination in its own right. So many interesting places are within a short distance - Durham city, Beamish museum, Bowes museum, attractive countryside including High Force, and many more.

The hotel stay was great. The staff were fantastic. I was very anxious as I was booking in with 3 different rooms but they made me feel at ease and all very welcome. The food was great even for a picky autistic teenager. The room was very comfortable and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and we could go back into reception if we needed more tea, coffee, sugar, sweeteners and milk. Overall, a great stay.

One of the nicest Premier Inns we have visited. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. Really clean all through. The staff on reception are very friendly and courteous and make you feel welcome. The Brewers Fare restaurant next door is accessed via a covered walkway, great if it's raining. The food was good and tasty on the main menu. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and the hot offerings were really well cooked. Would definitely return when next in the area.

Review of Premier Inn Revolver 8 reviews GB Rated 2 out of 5 stars Updated 8 minutes ago Not Up to Premier Inn Standards After a fairly recent stay from August 12th to August 15th this year at the Bishop Auckland Premier Inn I am forced to write a scathing review due to the poor quality of the room and lack of response to my complaint put in on August 16th 2024 Firstly staff were first rate. There was nothing too much trouble for them. The room was exceptionally clean when I asked for it to be cleaned whilst at breakfast However, there is phrase that says you can not make a silk purse out of sows ear. Staff were great but they are constantly battling against poor network connectivity, failure on door locking mechanisms and just the overall tiredness of the hotel having been built in 2007 apparently. During my stay even though I was only there for three nights, I had to go, on no less than 6 occasions to get my key card re-programmed or completely replaced. On two occasions the key card worked on the bottom door by the reception but not the hotel room door so I had to get the manageress to let me into my room which each time meant going up two floors to the second floor and walking along the corridor to get to the room. This was extremely poor and as I said, the staff did all they could to sort out the situation however, the hotel is tired and areas need major investment to bring it up to the high standards of Premier Inns that you come to expect. However, this is completely unacceptable to me and added to this the tired state of the bathroom and in the main room, holes evident in the curtains letting beams of light through and holes in the bedding. Also there was a lot patching that had taken place as the bathroom had sealant added around the floor edges on numerous occasions as well as on the bathroom tiling. The bath panel was in a right state and the bin looked like it had been beaten with a hammer. The chrome had come off the bathroom plughole and I thought initially it had been left dirty but this was not the case, it was just worn out. The shower temperature fluctuated and you would set it and it would do its own thing and the water would become unbearably hot. This meant you had to be very careful in using it. In fact I only used it once. August 16th 2024 put in complaint to Premier Inns. I got an acknowledgement same day they had received my complaint but It was not until September 4th 2024 got an email that said they could do nothing as they did not have enough information about my stay, which is weird considering all Premier Inns I am sure would be linked by an internal network and could have found the details of my stay. However, went along with it and sent invoice the same day as receiving the email from them. it is now October 7th no reply. I will keep you posted. 14 10.24- received communication from guest relations department trying to pacify me with £99 refund, which equates to roughly a third of the total bill. This ge

This is in a quiet location but adjacent to a great array of shops. The hotel and Brewers Fayre staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a great few days there. It was easy to park any time of the day. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The family room was roomy.
