It's similar to a domestic express hotel, and the room is quite small. The kettle is full of scale.

A very nice hotel by the river Just on the Blois River, a stone's throw away from the old town. The front desk clerk was hospitable and introduced the surrounding environment of Blois in detail. The room was of moderate size, clean and tidy. Breakfast It was average, average…

挨着河邊，免費停車。離超市開車5分鐘。古城布盧瓦值得再來，還住這家。

在盧瓦河邊，離市中心區步行10分鐘可到，很安靜也很便利

Very disappointed with our room, not close to 4 star standard. We booked one of the larger rooms, as others have mentioned this was a strange layout with a tiny sitting area and bathroom on one level and a mezzanine with the bed - notably none of these rooms are shown on the website. The room was tired & shabby, other than the recently renovated bathroom. The furniture downstairs was crowded as if borrowed from another room with more space. The couch was a pull out bed (although I can only imagine how cramped the room would be with the bed in use - I don’t know how anyone would get down from the mezzanine to the bathroom…) and just about functioned as a couch - the cushions wouldn’t stay in place and it was not at all comfortable. The stairs was ugly (painted in red gloss) narrow and awkward. All the furniture looked cheap and had seen better days. The balcony was unpleasant, no furniture and very gloomy concrete. The carpets were garish and grim. There were no cups or glasses provided for the soft drinks or tea and coffee. Only 2 paper coffee cups, cannot understand how this meets their green criteria. The indoor pool bizarrely is adjacent to the wine bar with a glass wall separating the two rooms. Not necessarily the view either swimmers or drinkers are looking for. Positives: The bed was a decent size. Water, orange juice and a couple of cans of coke/ orangina were included in the minibar. The nespresso machine and kettle was good although shoved in on a table under the stairs.. not so good for the very tall. Not recommended.

We stayed here for two nights and really loved it. Best Mercure we’ve stayed in to date. The whole foyer/lounge area is lovely, plenty of space and lovely decor. The hotel bar (Wine Not?) is beautiful. Love the high ceiling glass roof, and the rooms going off the gallery. One side of the bar looks out onto the hotel pool and so gives off a nice ambience. The decor is again very tasteful. Plenty of choice of drinks, though we didn’t try the food. The staff were all very pleasant and nothing was a bother to them. Even the maids were friendly and helpful, assisting us when we couldn’t the key cards to work. We were booked for breakfast too and there was again plenty of choice, in a tastefully decorated dining room with a pleasant aspect overlooking the Main Street and the river. Our rooms were both lovely, very clean and the beds very comfortable. Lovely showers and tasteful bathrooms. The reception staff were all very helpful too. Would love to return to Blois as we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel, as we loved it and it’s very well placed for tourists.

The Hotel is getting old but we had a lovely large room overlooking the Loire river through the trees, the wi-go was very good and 2 welcome drinks so we had dinner in the restaurant and was very good. Only a short walk to Bars and Restaurants, We had booked undercover secure parking otherwise there was parking across the road

Fantastic visit to Mercure with my family. Such a lovely welcome, staff were very friendly and facilities were good. Breakfast choice was very good and the hotel was in such a great location for sight seeing. The only unfortunate disappointment was that the air conditioning was broken throughout our stay so our room was absolutely boiling. Would have been good to have been offered some fans as we just didn't sleep much in the very hot temperatures. Would not put us off visiting again though.

Hotel is nice and central 10-12 minutes walk into town to visit chateau . Staff at reception most helpful and friendly. Small elevator but works fine . The bed is very comfortable and breakfast is the best . My shower did flood a little as water not draining the best .

Excellent location and amenities. Only a few blocks from the main center. They had an indoor pool and sauna. Easy to get on bikes and ride local trails. Safe parking for bikes and cars. Best breakfast options we saw all trip, anything you can think of. The front desk provided great service.

The room was was dated, shabby, beat up, small and crowded, the furniture was beat up, the couch was not clean, and although the bathroom was clean, the room was dark, dingy and dirty with chipped paint, cobwebs in the corners, nothing on the walls, the carpet did not seem clean, the balcony had cobwebs and insects and dirt in piles. It looked like it had never been swept. The stairway was a surprise; good thing we were not large or elderly people who have difficulty with narrow spaces or stairs. We should have refused the room and told them to show us another, but we were tired and hungry and too surprised to think clearly on the spot. Fortunately the bed was comfortable. These kinds of rooms are fine at an appropriate price and if someone is on a budget. It wasn’t going to kill us but we didn’t enjoy it at all. It certainly wasn't what we thought we would get when we were looking for 4-star hotels. The breakfast was extensive and quite nice and the public area of the hotel was consistent with a 4-star hotel. Maybe some rooms have been updated but this one certainly has not been. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We only have complaints (and legitimate ones at that) about the room. Some Trip Advisor reviews seem to reflect a much higher quality room.

From the very warm welcome at check in, I found all staff to be great here. The public spaces were nicely done and seemed modern and stylish. The rooms however seemed very dated compared with the rest of the hotel, and the atrium style meant that the loud music from the bar till 11pm was always audible. Ask for a room away from the atrium if you want a quieter experience.

Just returned from France and had a very nice stay at the Mercure Blois. Hotel was easy to find and well located to walk around center of Blois. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly, spoke good English, and efficient. Rooms were very comfortable. Recommend Mercure Blois for a very satisfactory visit.
